RA2 Westwood Online Shared Components too old?

Hi guys.

So I'm having this issue when trying to get on "Internet -> Custom Match" (XWIS) on Red Alert 2 Origin.

How do I fix or reinstall these?

You are playing (or trying to) a very old game. Try compatibility mode in whatever Windows version you're using.

If my old memory serves me well, the internet components were for multi-playing on their servers which have also been closed for many, many years.

The multiplayer server is XWIS which is still around, albeit barely active but still is up. This issue has nothing to do with compatibility issues, it’s just that my internet components for the game are too old and need updating or reinstalling? Wanted to know if anyone had this issue before and resolved it, and if so how?

I know that but you can still connect to XWIS from in the game Internet -> Custom Match etc
