"Compensation" !!!

Seriously EA! What kind of stupid compensation is this where it benefits the enemy more than my allies?

I'm sick and tired of "compensation" that boosts enemies. Why can't you guys actually think of a compensation that does not create more trouble for players who play properly instead of exploiting all the loopholes to create a nuisance, where the death of a base is actually a bonus because then it can jump towards the center and kill forgotten bases?!

I have killed players bases thousands of times, and they respawn and don't heal their bases so every single attack is a loss for the supposed winner. You penalize those who actually win in PvP, a most stupid move. All your patches have aided the losers of battles . I know you don't care about your player base, but this type of management is worse than ridiculous!

    By compensation are we talking about for some system issue? Or are you talking about the bounty you get (or don't get) from killing an enemy base?

    If the former I missed something, if the latter I'm with you. I must tell you though, the community is at least somewhat to blame for the neutering of PvP. Because of a few bad apples account harvesting, the 'fix' to that was to pretty much neuter that entire aspect of the game which is a shame.

    Want to hear a funny story? WAAAY back in the day, in Closed Beta 1, before POI, before the fort, if you had 3,000,000,000,000,000 tib in your base and you died in PvP ALL OF IT TRANSFERED!

  • I always thought it was a shame you can't get the layout of a PVP base you kill. Imagine how many times a six touch tib might change hands >.<

    It's good to see players reacting and letting EA know of potential issues and diffficulties we face as players.

    Sometimes, fortunately on unfortunately, the games goes towards the advantage of some player in some instances and on other occasions it is completely the opposite.

    What I understand is that, as players between ourselves, the rules or how the game is set plays to our disadvantage or our advantage depending on the situation bearing in mind that EA are keeping the originality of the game.

    On the other hand, I am glad that EA compensates EVERYTIME there is a disruption, scheduled or not.

    I requested for compensation a while back and, since then, EA have been compensating us players, especially for players who do not use funds because then, the players who do would have an advantage over those players who do not fund.

    I think that, at least, the players who do not fund benefit a little bit from the compensation from EA.

    I am not taking sides but, as a small player, this compensation really helps me and I would like to thank EA and show my appreciation for that.

    Again, it is good to see players reacting. Keep it up guys.

    The +18 hrs RT and +200cp compensation, which helps the enemy more than it helps my alliance.
  • The problem is that there is virtually no penalty for dying in PvP. Whereas the reduction in loot punishes those killing other players.

    We have killed thousands of their bases. They just respawn, kill Forgotten to take POIs, die again, respawn, die again, and the cycle continues.

    Add to that the fact that they can respawn, repair only their CC and airfield, factory and barracks, while leaving all else not repaired, then the attacker has to kill their repaired defence (even though DHQ and DF are not repaired), is sucky.

    Stupid game system favors the losers and punish the winners in PvP.
