A simple question ...
Sitting on the ruins of the satellite or sitting on the warning sign that a satellite is going to crash?
Remember that if you already have a satellite the game will not let you enter the ruins to take another one.
Not a part of EA / Envision teams - My comments are only mine.
In order to collect a code you need to move to the centre of the ruin area. If you can't, do you get an error message? A screen shot of what it looks like when you try to move onto the centre of the area would help.
When you sit in the centre of the ruin area it should say something about 'extracting code' and give a time remaining. Does this happen?
Looking at your player card http://prntscr.com/suy0n7 it shows you already have a code - you can only collect one code.
You need to be on a hub (with a lot of your alliance members) to use the code. Only if you kill the fortress do you need to collect a new code. You don't lose the code if your alliance doesn't kill the fortress.
