Support weapon rule change

The patch where SW use is limited under the bubble has fundamentally changed the game. If you wish to offer that as an option for another world and leave the present worlds as they were it would meet most preferences.
I do not think it appropriate to make such fundamental changes for a world in play.

Also the supports are tied to the bubble timer not the fact that you have bubbles....I popped early and could not set supports on myself....is that meant to be that way???? If so why what is the reason???? I popped my support bases then my main ...still could not put supports on my bases but could put them on others???

Personally I think this is **** and I don't like it at all. It screws up game play completely, we are being attacked by a larger Alliance we have held off for ages using our supports and now it has decimated us so as the CIC I asked everyone to to complain. Once my funds are spent I will be done on all Worlds. The World rules should never change and I can only see it driving people, hard core players lake myself away. If a World was setup like this I would never play it. Opinion in one word RUBBISH!

When you start a world and have set rules for that world its like signing a contract with the players who have the right to play on that world or not based on those set rules. I am one of those who do not like FA attack servers so i don't play there. The information provided allowed me to make that choice.

Changing the rules without consultation with the players, after the fact, takes away those choices is kinda like a breach of contract in my mind. Leave things alone on set servers. It screws things up for the players.

This is not how to please your clients, this is total crap when developers decide what they think is best, without putting the client first.

We pay your bills, remember that!!!! Its really important for you to not **** off the hand that feeds you.

You guys are 100% right! A few weeks ago they already have changed the ruleset of Wrath 26 two month after the start of the world (not for the first time). There was also no announcement!

People in charge here really don´t care about 99% of the clients!

At least there is a new forum „manager“ -> great🙄

Who cares about support weapon, changing the ruleset weeks after the start of a world, absurd updates, ineffective PVP and so on.

Not sure why you think there is a new forum manager. EA_arcadia is in charge of all forums and that is why the announcement was in that ID. EA_Roger is still involved and is still the community manager for this part of the EA forum site, but day to day it is the moderators who do things such as 'enforce' the rules of the forum or point people in the direction of solutions to their issues with the game.

I don't care about managers but this change is Rubbish it has cost my alliance heaps of bases my teams very annoyed. SO my suggestion is start a new world with these rubbish support weapons rules and see who plays. Answer not many people. I will be putting this up on all my sites. NOT Happy Jan!

This is indeed a bug, we are looking at it right away.

I am getting continued complaints from members of my team in Tib 26 about this rule change. Players are not happy about the support weapon changes at all guys like base swap but still I consider this also as a Arbitrary rule change, and even though I do like base swap I would rather not have it at the cost of support weapons. I am sure once the PVPers work it out they are the one who spend the most money here you will have more complaints.

I'm also sure that the vast majority of players, PvPers or farmers will adapt - they have to every change and complaints happen at each change.

I'll add another thumbs down to that new support weapon rule - again a couple of people crying get a change put in that most seem to oppose

im not impressed with this change either, TBH why not just remove all support wpns if you wish to lvl up the game. also bring back the increased res amounts for killing bases like it used to be!!

on T13 we have been fighting for over 4 years, we have not complained about support wpns making the game hard for us , we have used different tactics to gain goals there, so if players are so incapable to form tactics to play the game , dont dumb it down to suit them , give them a C&C for 5year olds or younger with fluffy animals ect.
the majority of the adults here love the game , spend money on it too,

also we dont mind when some changes are made , which make sense and help the game to be better/ stop types of suspected cheating or cheats.

im sure this subject will keep you all busy for some time as im sure players will keep posting here with there thoughts on this change.

The current changes are in the latest patch log. We will wait and see how the PVP meta adapts and make changes based on that, if necessary.

Right now there are no plans for changes to this feature.
