Move recovery after fortress dies

Yesterday when we killed fortress on Tib 44, we noticed that for everybody who got a target on their backs after the fortress died, also got move recovery wiped out on all the bases. (e.g. I jumped in range of the fortress right before the attack, but after it fell I could jump away immediately).
Is this a feature or a bug? It this part of the last patch?
This did not happen the previous time we killed the fortress on the same server about a month ago, and it is not described in the patch notes.

Sounds like a bug to me. We're not likely to notice it on the PTE as move cooldown reset is the only cheat we have.

Feature to help you flee the area. Level 65 base cannot flee in time if I remember correctly or can, but like just barely with 12hrs remaining.
  • I believe we added that feature in the past to avoid players getting stuck in the retaliation zone. This was done last year, not sure why its only taken effect now.

Their world probably only just now killed fortress since the patch.
  • I think this is good.
I even think the Alliance and/or players should be frozen/killed/ghosted after destroying the fortress as there are too many that help their 2nd alli to get 2nd place by attacking their opponents after they themselves have killed the Fortress.
The remaining players should be free to fight among themselves for the 2nd and 3rd position without interference from the already winning alli.
  • It's a feature... I confirm the MR reset after the fort kill.
(don't know when this was implemented... which patch version)
