DIDNT UNDERSTAND THE GAME UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE

Is there any way to leave the game and start over? Now that I understand the game more I want to get a fresh start.

You can't 'leave' a world or the game. Don't log in and after 2 years you account will be removed from the world. You could start again with a different ID on the same world, or a better option would be to wait a short time for the Wrath world to be launched. (It's always better to start on a world when it starts otherwise you're always playing catch-up.) While waiting you can continue to learn about the tricks of the game, such as which scripts to use (and not use) etc.
