Safety checks on accounts with unusual activity
Greetings Commanders,
as online fraud is an ever present issue, Electronic Arts has recently increased its safety measures to protect its users. This has seen the recent increase in password resets.
In short, EA now monitors more strictly who logs in from where into which accounts and how often. If too many irregularities are detected the account is considered compromised and the password reset, with a new one being send to the email entered to verify the account to notify the owner.
We recommend all users to only use email addresses that you can properly access and to use Two-Factor authentication as well as marking your devices as trustworthy.
