It’s not considered cool to write in forums these days maybe cause of the troll label, maybe for fear of being picked apart or disagreed with, monitor the activity in the next year and if there is a reduction of participation it may be because of the monotony an unchanging meta presents to the veteran players.

Agree – i´m not sure about the reasons but for sure most of the players are not paying attention to the forum. Probably you (@EE_Elephterion) should write an in-game message to all players about the discussion. Suppose more people will join the discussion in that case.

The next few FA no morale servers will likely look the same as t53 and I would bet reaching server capacity will eventually not happen in that format. Nobody that is on the winning team is going to complain but it’s the same people over and over again and why would they want anything to change.

Agree – without any changes to that game every new server will be the same. Boring and not even close to max. server capacity. Because of that some guys have asked for more servers -> change the dynamic. You know the winner of each single server after 3-7 days (at the latest) – that’s bad for everybody.

There is a better balance between PvP and farming that can be achieved easily by increasing PvP loot or adding RP loot rewards for defending from attacks much like farming waves in FA servers. Patches are already in place that reduce the viability of exploiting that but I could see players which use many multi accounts abusing this by attacking themselves.

That’s the most important aspect of the game that has to be changed! But let´s use the new pvp thread.

The forts could be easier and quicker to attack. Having alliances reach the middle sooner and at a more even strength could be fun. Being able to race to kill the Fort and needing only one or two hubs instead of securing the entire middle or controlling 4 hubs and waiting to capture 40 codes. Alliances can still cooperate, take turns winning or switching teams.

Agree – at the moment waiting for 40 or more codes is nonsense. Teams are running to the center – they don´t care about codes. First if they are safe at center + the bonus is so big that nobody can beat them they move back to get the codes.

The distribution of only 1 winning alliance reward could reduce this mass cooperation trend and might encourage more team building. Maybe start servers that can be restarted at a set time soon after first Fort kill to develop rivalries that may not always be one sided which has clearly resulted in the dissolution and combination of many teams.

In my opinion in makes no sense to have servers for 5,6,10 (or whatever) years. Start new servers with a given lifetime of 12 month (as an example – not sure what´s the best value).Only reward for the first winning alliance? Not sure – a lot of players could quit the world very quickly. Because there are no new servers quickly lot of players could leave the game forever. I understand and support your idea to reduce the mass cooperation – the way has to be discussed.
  • im thinking about project, for when they are the only players left. they will have more fun being able to compete against themselves after everyone else is gone only if there is a point to it. reduced rewards to only one badge given per server would be the only way that1 team of 8 alliances worth of accounts could still enjoy this game and pretend to compete. unless you would like to give us our own servers to start, with invitation only joining requirements. After the rest of the player base gives up trying to 'win', there wont be a much of a 'game' left to play here.

  • I think it would be best to always start 2 worlds at the same time, so you would have the opportunity to avoid the server where people hang around who work with too many multis
  • yes it is a good idea to create a server for project. They will be able to continue playing with their alts and it would not spoil the fun of others
  • and they could create as many wings as they want
  • really don´t know why we discuss about that game any longer - these guys are not even able to open 1!!! server for the coming weeks where most guys have holidays. So disappointing!

  • why, enigma wrote in his 10 year old post that saying this year we'll see you on the battlefield means for me they will start a new world this year
  • More servers is only way to save CnC start 4 or 5 servers in close proximity and new servers started when first badge is done that is the only way to keep game moving and keep game alive.

Yes i know some servers will not be full but attraction of players should now be the first priority to keep the game alive, to stop it from dying, the full servers will come when the game regains momentum. Almost all other options will continue to kill the game.

On every current server if you are not "in with" the lead alliance then there is no point to play it. Waste of funds and waste of time. The game is now a race to middle then a kiss **** contest to see which badge you can be given.

Due to these on going problems with the game i now spend 10% of the funds that i once spent and i guess i am not the only person doing so. If i am right EA must be losing a small fortune and will soon close the game anyways as there are no new players to make up the difference in revenues that they must be losing.

Yes i guess new servers cost money but with no players there is no money and with no money there is no game. Sometimes you have to spend to gain i guess now is time EA need to spend to gain or gracefully make an announcement of a final server then close the door.

Tick Tock time is running out for CnC

"But before that comes resting in the holiday season. When the new year approaches, we will be ready to say once again: See you on the battlefield, Commanders"

-> no new world this year

the last weeks i´ve seen a lot of good ideas for a better game. Of course some ideas have to be discussed more in detail. Unfortunately there is no communication at all with the Envision guys. They told us they are open for discussions -> some guys made proposals -> there is exactly one answer by @gamerdruid. Not ONE answer by the persons in charge. Its disappointing + frustrating and a waste of time.

  • What's funny EA lied again, I remember we were promised gifts for our 10th anniversary, but nobody got anything, can you explain it to EA?
  • 10th Anniversary is a flexible feast - CB1 in December 2011 with only a few invitees, CB2 in April 2012 with a few more widely privileged invitees.

May 2022 is the 10th anniversary of it becoming open to the public generally. (Dates obtained from developers) so a 10th anniversary surprise could be any one of those months.

@EE_Elephterion was talking about special prices for the WCS!
  • I do not understand why the developers are not solving the alts problem. The solution to this problem is so simple that I'll write it now. It is necessary to add only one condition: if someone else beats the base, no one gets resources. Agree this is brilliant, and most importantly it is implemented very simply.
The problem that arose with the project is old and instead of the project there could be some other alliance that would use it. It is not clear that the developers are satisfied with the falling online and short servers on which you have to play without pvp for 50 days. I am more than confident that this WCS will perform the worst financial result of all. The imbalance in the game is so terrifying that it is not clear where the developers are looking. Worlds with morality, who invented them in the form in which they are? For a grant, I'll tell you how to make the world with morality twice as interesting as a regular server.))) In the form in which the world with morality now exists, this is a game at the end of which you become so dumb that you lose all your skills. And playing for GDI in a moral world is a separate kind of mazahism. I understand that the game is a source for making money for the company and its employees, but I do not understand why nothing changes, because online is steadily falling, and what was implemented in 53 Tib is a different story altogether. Previously, the server was filled with 15K + akk. 53 Tib played less than 10K akk.

That has now been changed! Price and reward have the same word in German - it should have be what it is now, Prizes.

The dangers of a translation from a different language to English don't often show themselves here, but are ever present.

Prizes are of course granted per alliance member. We are additionally preparing some surprise rewards for this year’s 10th anniversary of C&C Tiberium Alliances.

  • . Wir bereiten zusätzlich noch einige Überraschungspreise für das diesjährige 10-Jahres Jubiläum von C&C Tiberium Alliances vor.
    das hat EE_Elephterion geschrieben,lol

cant wait to see what they have in mind for surprise rewards, the closed beta 1 server was at one point probably called alpha. the first wave of players granted access were mostly german players calling themselves united forum. they likely started the first server around this time of year in 2011. there was another wave of players added to the beta testing server not long after which included one of our esteemed moderators, methuselah from gamereplays.org . i believe his group was granted access about 2 weeks before my invitation was accepted, which will be ten years ago in exactly 40 days from today. i think we will probably receive an achievement badge that says 10 years of cncTA not unlike the 25 years anniversary of cnc badge i think most players have.

There is no alt problem in fact the alts at moment help fatten the game on different levels. Some are funded the same as mains others are helping in wings for now the alts are probably helping speed up next server lol. And ok yes some guys are using them to soften bases etc. The game mechanics allow it and if the guys have time to use them then they break no rules. The real problem for most is choice. Choice of server to play and at moment the choices are two.

    1) Play or
    2) don't play

All players that love the game and know how it has been in the past choose 1) to play but the real joy of the game has gone for the majority. First days of a server are find out who will win and join that team in a wing, collect your badge when ready then look for next server. Game over ;-( That is not the way the game was intended to be played.

Oh by the way i am also an alt my main account can no longer log into forums, is that an EA problem or a ban that Clown kind of problem? So for me alts are good, no alt would mean no forum.

    regards

    Tick Tock
  • Tiсk Toсk your answer shows how much the level of players has fallen, many players no longer know how to shoot bases differently. Most do not understand that there are GDI and NOD bases. That when you shoot a base, you need to roughly count how many hits it takes to kill it. Why develop and try to understand the mechanics of the game if you can take alt and shoot. In any game it has a name - Noob.
No offense, I don't want to offend anyone, but it's true.
