Browsers crashing

Prev13
Is anyone else experiencing this issue. In both Chrome and Edge, when I am logged in to tiberium alliances, I am getting a memory leak that ends up crashing the browser with a memory error. I can't find anything online about it. I have cleared cache etc. Let me know, thanks.

  • Do you use any scripts?
  • yep i have the same problem but i t happens sometimes after restart no problem till next day^^
  • now i have a new problem on firestorm 18

  • the fund s work again to many redirections again wiped all cookies and site acces
  • Im hearing this complaint a lot lately, but Im firefox and thats been fine :)
  • I do use scripts. CnCTA script pack. The problem appears to be memory leak and seems to occur when I am simming an attack. There is clearly something wrong with Chrome although I can find nothing online. Any techies out there with any thoughts.
  • This browser crashing issue is only happening when I am using tiberium alliances. So it must have something to do with the game. Need someone affiliated with EA to look into this issue.

Does it happen if you play a lot without scripts running?

  • Greetings commanders,

anyone without scripts can confirm this problem on Chrome still happens? We have not yet been able to reproduce this issue.

    A few questions:
    • What scripts are active
    • Is your Chrome on the latest version
    • What world is this happening on?

  • I am using CnCTA script pack. It is happening on Microsoft edge also which is chrome based. I get regular updates so it should be the current version. It appears to only happen when I am simming attacks. I am using TABS simulator. No other scripts seem to cause an issue. I am active on Tib 48. Thanks for looking into this. It just started about a week ago.
  • I have the same problem. First PC - Chrome with CnCTA script pack (more often happening). Other PC - Microsoft edge without any scripts. World Tib 55. It started few days ago. only during simulate attack.

    Same for me.
I'm using Chrome (updated 64 bit version), CnCTA script pack, World Tib56.

@EA Elephterion: have you been able to reproduce it yet?

It seems to be a problem a lot of people have, some players of my alliance also tested 3 different browsers and had the problem with all of them.
  • I have this:

Chrome: Version 103.0.5060.134 (Official Build) (64-bit)
    and CnCTA SoO pack

I get frequent crashes and it would be a total nightmare in pvp scenarios.

I have been messing around a little bit and I have found the situation improved when I remove any 'warchief' scripts , but it isn't very scientific, better if more people play about and investigate.

It probably won't solve the problem, but updating your version of Chrome may help. Mine is
    "Version 104.0.5112.81 (Official Build) (64-bit)"

  • I have this latest version of chrome and it's still crashing with the out of memory error

  • I think I will swap to firefox, it really is the most annoying thing ever.
  • Greetings again,

because the info popped up in the german forum: how many of you experiencing the crash are playing on Chrome and Windows 11?

Well, he is probably not the one who fixes that problem and he communicates with us. No need to insult people here. Give them some time to get this fixed and we will all be fine again :)
