Installing C&C Generals from a disk on windows 11

I just installed C&C Generals Disk copy on a 2021-2022 Dell Alienware Gaming PC and for some reason, My OS will not recognize the Game despite being run in compatibility mode. For Disk owners that have installed C&C Generals on Windows 10 & 11, what was your solution to make it run? Installation date for me was 2/24/2023
