500 SERVER ERROR ISSUE 8th March - 10th March

  • I think this has been said before but it doesn't matter if it is said one more time.

    - The problem is not with the game
    - The problem is not with the scripts that we are using in the game
    - The problem is not from a specific browser
    - The problem is not ours, we do not have to change the password every time we start

    From what we are talking about among all players it is a problem with one of EA's authentication servers. EA is the one who must solve this error as it has done on previous occasions.

    The game developers do not have access to this part of the technology infrastructure in order to provide a solution. :-(

    That is because it is not a local on your computer problem. The problem lies at EA servers.

    I can tell you the iDeal payment dont work also, at least since friday
    I can tell you the VISA payment system dont work, at least since friday.

    I can log on with the pw reset but every time I want add funds it denies.

    CCs are good, bankcards have money i use it all the time.

    So it is not just a "EA server" problem im afraid.
    Not only me, others also cannot buy funds or only accepted after gazillion times trying.
    I couldnt make it work, so how long before i need to give up and abandon trying?

    If you have problems with the acquisition of funds, you can review other threads where mentions of this failure are made.

    In those other threads I have also found information about buying operations through EA's services, so this part is also something for EA to solve.

    Note: I emphasize again that opening a comment here is not reporting a problem to EA, in most cases it is the components of the game community itself that help as much as possible and are not part of EA.

    I have found a link where you can explain this issue to EA to see if they can provide a solution.

    I'm back again. Having ongoing password problems and 500 Server errors. It makes me change (or "change" to same password) every time I sign on. Looks like this started in Russia, then Europe ?? What is going on ??

    Yesterday I couldn't purchase funds. After an hour or so finally had to do the password change. Can we please get this fixed ? Thanks

    I have a friend who is not receiving the two-step verification email that should contain/show the 6 code numbers for account verification. This has been happening for 5 days now. My friend has had a support chat with EA and established a second new email address for said verification code to be sent to but still no 6 number verification email from EA arrives. I can say this is for our C.I.C and it is now causing major problems which is effecting the whole alliance.

  • you can not enter as sub to those accounts that can't login..... they are reported as not existng but obviously they are still there. this is realy the worst I have seen from EA ever.
  • Same problem here - I can only logon if I change password EVERY TIME I LOGIN.
    Trying another browser FAILED.
    Trying to delete stored browser passwords FAILED.
    This is crap.
    Obviously some "update" gone wrong.

    Not a game update as this is a problem to all EA games. Obviously you jumped to the wrong conclusion.

  • with all due respect @gamerdruid your posts add zero value to this discussion. Obviously loging to the game is part of game and no player cares if it is ian or markus which are responsible for any authentication problem. People paid money to play the game and they are not being delivered the promissed product. The blame game is of no interest to them.
  • yesterday I sent EA an application and it was officially accepted, about which I was notified. Today, on 10.01.2023, I logged into all three of my accounts in the game of Teams and Conquest. Just in case, I went out and entered again, there were no problems. I really hope that in the future there will be no such problems and we will all be able to enjoy our favorite games. Yes, I almost forgot, please change the moderator of the chat, he is incompetent, if I worked like that, I would be fired immediately. All the peaceful sky above your head!

    With all due respect, I understand that you're upset that your game isn't working but think we all are, including @gamerdruid.
    His comment provides information, information about the problem and its evolution. Identifying where the problem is so we don't go crazy thinking it's a problem with our computer or browser or whatever.
    I just read a comment that the problem was caused by some game update but no, no updates have been made and the location of the problem has been clearly identified.
    It is required to be identified to be able to play, correct but if this identification system has a problem we must open an incident with EA through their website or by phone (if they still allow it in your country).
    What is clear to me is that if the solution were in the hands of @gamerdruid, everything would already be working, but as long as he doesn't have the solution, helping others, even by providing information, is an exceptional task.

    as the moderators have already pointed out, we are investigating with EA together why this problem is occurring right now. As soon as we have more news we will let you know.

    Note what is said here by an employee of the game developers. Investigations are happening. When news of a solution is available it will be given. In the interim it is better if people don't jump to conclusions based only on the fact they can't log in or use substitutes that have worked for a long time.

  • i had no problems logging into my account at all today, since nobody else bothered to come and say thankyou, i would like to say i appreciate the work everyone puts in to get problems solved and especially druid for always being there to say dont worry everything will be alright unless you are trying to ask for a no FA no morale server than get bent. however, the login issue isnt the only problem with this game at the moment, its been going on for a long time and nobody has said a word about it. am i the only one who notices that defending units in forgotten targets start with more health registered on the health meter than they actually have. its not until the first damage is dealt to defending units that the true health is shown. furthermore im concerned that first contact with defending forgotten units with improper health may deal more damage than they should because the actual health status is being displayed incorrectly at first. if anyone else has noticed this i would love an explanation for why defending forgotten units appear to be stronger until they take damage and then the health meter drops immediately down to where it should be.

    then you should understand that in such systems the fault can be at both sides, and while EA is the authenticating agent there might be some problem with communication on the game side. such integrations and debugging them might not be trivial at all, maybe it is just the one server which runs an out of date code, or which is trying to authenticate too many requests than its hardware is capable of.
