Do not call EA support 10 minutes before the end of working hours, they could be a little tired.....
However, if you report that you are getting a 500 error and they reply that you need to contact your internet operator!!!
Because?? I have been using this operator for years and even today after 1/2 an hour I was connected first and then I couldn't connect, and now is it my fault?
From Google :Error code 500 indicates that the request sent by the browser could not be processed for an unidentifiable reason. Unlike the 404 error — due to a problem with the site's content — the 500 error depends on a problem with the server on which the site is hosted.
Now I understand that if I call and no one answers, it's not my fault if I don't yell too loudly, but it's the fault of those who use an inadequate server to not hear.

If you want I will send you the steps to solve connectivity problems, but that won't help because the mode is no longer available. this was the response EA help gave me when I tried to help get into the game
