Firestorm 21 stuck in the back and cannot move forward.

This is some **** and I would like answers. Fix this immediately. I sectored and cannot move forward. I probably have sector out then try to sector back. I don't know, that's just a guess. I'm not the only one that has this issue! Please fix this.

  • We have an issue on the new Firestorm 21 Server. None of the players can move into the territory in between the drop zones for each sector on the outer rings, like you can on other new sectors, Because of this, there are MANY players that are literally STUCK on the very outer edge of the map and cannot move anywhere inward.
This appears to be a new glitch with this server. Can a Tech please look into this and see if this can be fixed? If you look at the very outer edge of the map in the Southwest, West and Southwest sectors, you'll see what I mean. Unless these players are allowed to move into the drop zone area, they will likely be forced to quit the game since they cannot move and grow. :| Please assist. Thanks.
  • Meant to say like you can move on other new Servers, not Sectors
  • EA needs to get onto this. many have relocated to get to their alliance but unused founding tiles stand between them and the bulk of the players in the south west sector. This is causing lack of growth and a perceived hinderance to the alliance growths. Please solve the issue forthwith. funds have been spent to play this but unless more players start ( and in FRONT of us), then grow to move, there is nothing we can do. MANY players are having this issue. Awaiting official EA response.

As I pointed out in another thread, no-one from EA reads these forums. The developers don't work at weekends so you won't get a response today.

This same issue has arisen on other worlds and is due to the size of the world. I'm not sure what, if anything, can be done to solve the issue. Experienced players know that when you jump sectors you move back some and when you do this at the start of the world you move into the reserved area.

I've spent some time looking at every player that is 'stuck' at the edge and the vast majority don't have any badges, indicating to me they're either new player accounts (people locked out of existing accounts) or new players. Some are accounts of players with recent badges and a few with badges from many years ago (as far back as 2015).

Looking at the distances from the players to the edge, the south sector looks to be the most promising, but it only has a few slots free at the very edge of the world.

  • so how do we bring this to their attention and would they actually care to resolve the issues by maybe deleting some unfounded spots to lessen the gap between the landed players and those already there? there were spots to land but the game moved them to the coastline in some instances. I was monitoring my partners relocation and watching for the landing on an available tile...straight to the coast.

EA don't need it bringing it to their attention, the developers do. I will be pointing them to these forums.

  • Gotta love EA"s "support team". They start a new server on a Friday, it has issues/bugs and nobody is working the weekend... Must be nice.... ugh.
  • Average Money Driven EA
Its what now most of us Expect from EA
The devs blame EA EA Blame the Devs and the loop goes round and round
and we keep Paying for Funds (((
  • So where is the feedback from the "SUPPORT TEAM"?? This issue is now going on 9 days since it was reported and there is NOT A SINGLE reply..... Pretty sad how they don't respond. It's no wonder why lots of players have quit playing this game.

@GeneralWilhelm22 Putting aside the lack of response from others, a player ending up at the edge of the world does so because they're inexperienced on such a small world. This has happened in the past. If you look at what badges players have that are stuck at the edge of the world very few have recent Firestorm first place (or any first place) badges. This indicates they knew not to jump at the start of the small world without checking the likely possible routes back.

@gamerdruid there is absolutely no reason why a bad relocate should take a player out of the game, another problem which should have been fixed a long time ago. Not a great introduction to the game for a new player . Yet another reason that this game is a dead duck and haemorrhaging players.

EE should either resource the game properly or shut it down, what's the point otherwise. Better to burn out than to fade away.....

I agree, it's not a great introduction to the world. If you can tell them how to prevent it then I'm sure they'd love to know. This is a rare occurrence on most worlds. I suggested generating the world early and looking, but apparently that's not an option for some reason I can't fathom.
