The world of C & C. Is it small fry ?
Hello All. Hello gamerdruid.
I've been reading the threads about the Malus being out of whack, and yet another new world roll out disaster.
It got me to thinking about gamerdruids' words of wisdom when responding to my thread about the forced 2 step process to verify the identity of the user trying to login to the account.
I'm going to lose the stealth account because of this forced process because I lost the password to the email account on file and can't get the code for stealthed to log in and play world 46. Without stealthed, kissjon can't control enough poi's to be able to control the planet, and because of this, my C & C gameplay is about to stop permanently.
If I understood gamerdruid correctly, the entire world of C & C is small fry to a huge company like EA.
Does this small fry status explain why EA doesn't maintain the highest standards when maintaining the servers properly, dealing with security issues, ( so they don't affect my stealthed account gameplay), and for NOT producing top flight programming mechanics for small fry worlds ?
Does it matter if it's an old world, or a new world ? Either way it's a messed up world for the small fry.

Like many things in the real world, big companies like EA outsource much of their operations to smaller companies. I know that game production is outsourced so it wouldn't be surprising if the server and security side of EA operations (NOT confined to the C&C universe) were outsourced too.
After reading through the forums, I became aware of the many problems faced by C & C players.
One player talks about an EA phone number that no longer exists, and when used last year, he got positive results for issues that are similar to my forced 2 step login process.
Dropping that number seems to show another example that the world of C & C is small fry to EA.
Obviously an exit strategy didn't exist when the game was developed, but now it seems they have come up with a solution: Make everyone quit playing the game for one reason or another, and they are VERY good at coming up with new reasons on a regular basis.
It doesn't matter if it's a new world or old world, it seems they don't want anyone playing this game, and wish to discontinue the entire world of C & C permanently. Now that's an exit strategy. Good call.

But not when it is on the trajectory it is on now.
I feel abused by EA destroying my main account by blocking to buy funds, and when worlds are set up for maximum profit instead of maximum fun for playing members.
EA is not making any effort to bring in new players, they exclude players from Russia even.
So we are on a path of death of this game. EA should consider selling it to a core of players who are willing to keep it alive. I would put up 100k and others maybe too. a good exit strategy for EA and a future for this game with lower fees is possible for funds and a more flexible player/developer interface.

So may issues that can but won't be resolved from ill considered server settings and no good solution to multi accounting so killing PvP with lazy "solutions".
And of course any hint of dissent is shut down by the Devs as soon as it arises. EE and EA just needs to give it away to someone who gives a damn.
@NIMSWRATHS
Blocking the purchase of funds ? Excluding players ? Please elaborate ?

opinion but PvP use to be more restrictive than it is now?
In any case for large alliances PvP is now just waiting until an alliance is sleeping to attack. In 2 to 3 hours it is all over. There is almost no strategy involved the way it is now.
I guess now the tradeoff is how cheap PvP is cp wise.
It's cheaper even than attacks in your own territory.
After reading the threads above, in response, these are my current thoughts in the time allowed.
On a path of death = It seems that way.
100K from NIMWRATHS GROUP = Wow !
Flexible player/developer interface = Been doing some thinking/talking to certain people. Wow !
Just limping along in its current guise = it seems that way
Dissent shut down by Developers = I'd need lots of proof of that one and in a different thread possibly called, " Poof that dissent is shut down by Developers ".
I remember the idea of merging old worlds into a new one = not possible from a tech viewpoint, and not practical from those who responded to the thread. It was a long time ago.
Fun finding a **** load of loot stashed away on a base = Hell yea you get it all jack. Woot ! Boo Rah.
Lazy solutions to multi accounts killing PVP = Encourage multi account use because it brings a level of difficulty worthy of seasoned Vets for one thing, AND it brings much needed revenue from small fish, so lets encourage many old and new small fish to swim in our unique world. Safety in numbers.
This revenue is recognized as a fact of life that the NIMWRATHS dedicated group will have expenses in order to provide this unique world. Those expenses should by definition include a small payroll in my humble opinion, and I offer my many thanks for the ray of hope your offer provides ! ! !

Just read the thread addressing your thoughts on how the threads are not welcome unless it adds to the narrative in a positive manner, and I hope my responses above do just that and meet with your approval.
I personally understand that some things just happen and it's to be taken in stride, and wish to make it clear that I hold no malice towards EA and it's decision making processes in any way. I too don't want to read on and on about the same tripe that has already been addressed. To me, it's more like let's move on to a productive conversation that is in compliance with forum standards.

What I would close with though is that, by EA standards, that is pretty extraordinary. I fully credit the team from Envision for that, maybe everything they do isn't perfect and by all means we should discuss that, but 12 years and still trying to support a game is extraordinary.
I'll hush now
Or Even Developing a like Game them self's
The Draw for Many is the Ability to form a Alliance and interact via the Chat with Each Other, Many Friends World wide Have been made with in this Game. and that is the Main Point over the Shooter Games like World of Duty Etc Basically you are a single Player
So Who do you send the Suggestions to at these other Game companies, To Spark there Intrest
I played 50K players world 10 years ago, and this has been one of the greatest gameplay experience i ever had in a game. this was a very large world and we fought along with our Alliance for more than one year. Today i really miss my alliance and old war brothers. This game is a true social experience and deserve a better outcome :'(
Keep it up devs !
