I prefer no attacks. So you're free to build up or not your defenses at time. Defense construction should stay an alliance organisation topic and should not be forced by forgottens IMHO

You can attack them but they can't attack you seems against nature.
But it does free up gameplay for other stuff.
I decided to try tiberium 59 finally. And there is no chat window on my mobile.
I know mobile is not supported but I still didn't expect that.
Oh well....
Firestorm 21 with attacks, with the original settings would have been a tough go.
Slightly different strategies would have been needed but I'm sure it would have been fun.
And then having to defend against, eliminate outposts and even camps when the going is tough takes away from the direct strategy and is too much to ask anyone.....
Generally I have the same opinion.
But I wish malus was more dynamic maybe linking malus state to uprising state?
btw what was the malus level before it was scaled back on firestorm 21?
I prefer no forgotten attacks. It is a war game so PvP should be a mandatory requirement thus forcing players to build and maintain defences. Without PvP the game is simply a "race to the middle" best diggers will always win and all others will come second ;-) both FA and Non-FA have strategies and when closely followed it makes it a simple race to the middle. PvP gives a variation that is unknown.
Maybe PvP should be more difficult?
A limit on how many attacks/base kills over a given time and a much quicker calibration time for defense artilary.
And maybe some link to the uprising ruleset that will spawn forgotten to attack who they will.
And I mentioned dynamic malus in an earlier post then defensive malus as well.
When forgotten can attack their ai is more aggressive and outposts and camps play a role in their base strategy.
Faster alliances actually exploit that by aggressively attacking bases and keeping them on the defensive while never allowing the secondary outposts and camps to counter effectively.

Both opinions are good, i'm sure you can have fun also with attacks, it was just my personal thinking :)
