PTE Bugs

After or probably while removing parts of a conversation, the script error below appeared.

qx.io.remote.RequestQueue[140-0]: Request qx.io.remote.Request[286114-0] handler _oncompleted threw an error: TypeError: this.kids is undefined

Seems to come from webfrontend.

I've not seen this error - do you have a third party script that colours the conversations or allows longer chat histories? If so, try disabling those scripts as there are a lot of changes taking place on the PTE and a number of older scripts no longer work.

  • Hi GamerDruid,
the message comes definitely from the webfrontend, I extracted it from the gamedata file. As I already explained to InSepp, this happened during an active attack. I opened the Mail Window while the combat window was in background. Then I removed some messages in an open conversation with an alliance member.

Yes, I have third party scripts installed, but none contains that code/function call. This was my first check.

No new scripts, but make sure that all scripts you use are up-to-date. The 2 packs contain versions that seem to work are Center Driven and Crucial All in One. Others may contain scripts that these don't but may also contain scripts that don't work. Many are no longer available as stand-alone scripts as the authors have moved on to other things.
