UPDATE: Community Vote to ban Master-syr

I have never done this before. Nor did I believe I would ever have to do this. I've played this game for a long time. I've created and helped develop third-party scripts. I've seen my fair share of foul talking eternal enemies. In all that time, I never felt convicted to call any kind of action upon any account until now. This community vote is about how we as a community handle each other. I do not expect EA to take any official action on this. However, after countless servers watching Master-syr act completely despicable has led me to call this community vote.

I ask that you vote to ban Master-syr (even though he has multiple accounts - as most of the players do) because every server he constantly spews venom and vulgarity in chat, talks disrespectfully about women, uses degrading and repulsive language, asks other users to put money on his account, and thinks he has impunity from any kind of action taken against him.

This ban would mean not accepting him into alliances under any circumstance. If you agree or disagree - I invite you to make your voice heard below.

Master-syr has changed his behavior and the community ban against him will be lifted at the end of Veteran Season 5.

I'd like to thank Master-syr for changing his behavior and everyone who contributed to this.

As for the Community Ban - I see this thread as important for everyone. If the players themselves do not seek for an example to be set nothing can be done to those who abuse world chat with venom and hatred. Foul language against women shall not be tolerated.

Going forward any community bans will be voted on in this thread so that players can keep track of who they may need to look out for.

CENTER DRIVEN has already established bans on several players. Master-syr will be removed from that list as well at the end of Veteran Season 5.

I agree, his comments on woman are not acceptable. He has been warned in chat by lots of players and instead of backing off he states its a language issue. I,m pretty sure he is aware of what he is saying.

please do not associate the master with the Russians .he played in the Russian team for many seasons on the veteran server, and each season ends and one back .master kick for his remarks against other players in an inappropriate way .he always begins his conversations with an insult to me personally and to the Russian Alliance .I believe this behavior is not acceptable for team play .it is a game and there's not supposed to be here with personal depresing to others .I just want to Master shut your dirty mouth

i believe as a heavy gamer. we have the right to play this game without being trolled. we have the right to log in and each player to be treated equally. he has never done anything to me personally but i have seen horrid remarks in chats. for him and many other players that i cant name. everyone who logs into this Game logs in for the same reason i do and that is to have fun. and if we arent having fun then what is the point? my opinion, clean the game of trolls. if you are a troll and you are reading this. troll another game not ours.

I agree with XDaast if any player is threatening other players and disrespecting woman they should have no rights to play in this game.

I've played on a number of worlds which have included this player. I've always found it "convenient" that he finds it is never his fault that something goes wrong and then he starts calling all his team mates and other players names etc. I've Vowed never to play in the same alliance as him and anytime I see him I will kill him, As well my friends. He's never to be trusted and never to be believed. I've never demanded something of EA but in this case I say Ban him for life and as players and commanders he should be ostracized from this game.

I agree that it's wrong to treat other players disrespectful. Players shouldn't be calling other players names and threatening them. Players that are like that deserve to be banned from the game.

I have played with Master-syr on another world and he tends to send messages to other players that is very bothering in language. I have found that he is very sexist towards female players. Players like that should be banned.

Master-syr talks disrespectfully about women and treats other players very badly. Players like that should be banned. The game is suppose to be fun to play and when players like him treat other players bad it takes the fun out of the game.

Hey!

If any player behaves inappropriate and uses disrespectful language, you all should report him instantly with the report-system in the game. Else it`s very hard to check who is right and if someone should be banned or not.

The last time (only time) I tried to report someone I got threatened with the ban because they couldn't understand that I was quoting (it was inside quote marks) from the offender mail. Others have had similar experiences from EA support in the past.

I've seen his behaviour in the past and I agree it is unacceptable. The 'ignore' system on chat works, can we have the same for mail which is where the worst offences are committed? Maybe the system saying 'XXX has sent you a mail, do you wish to read it? The player is on your ignore list' would be a good option. Although your inbox would still fill up with rubbish from them. Another option would to be able to send to trash as you can on most regular mail systems.

I have already reported several things and nothing has ever been done. That's a pity. Why should one then report something? Master-syr is just a disgraceful player. When I can I ignore him totally, ban his computers mac address and then he can't annoy so many people.

I agree too!! We've reported him dozens of times even with screenshots but nothing happens!

I agree very strongly !
I have reported every threatening, insulting, disrespectful hatemail, chat , ...
EA has NOT acted on any!
When he was in our alliance, he tried to get everyone he spoke to to become his friend on facebook.
I can't help but wonder if master uses this game for other purposes, being a syrian soldier.
In any case, his remarks on chat, messages, .... should be enough reason for EA to ban all his accounts for life, and as suggested above, ban his IP address, so he can not come back under any new name.
master-syr and master2nd are the 2 accounts I know he has.
