New EA Login Page redirect

new session option does not work, every time I have to exit and re-subscribe to EA, slow slow slow connection, what happens I can not play with my accounts. regards

  • This definitely is the most stupid "enhancement" implemented the last 5 years.
    How should players, having multiple accounts, log in now.
    Some of the extra accounts, we only have a temporary replacement, so sending verification codes to the "owner"s email address is definitely not the right way.

    Anyway, i used to manage at least 5 accounts, all nicely filled up with funds, now i only remain 1

    benefit for EA = -4 accounts (even more) where no extra funds can be spent, not to talk about the funds that now are in but that can not be used anymore as the accounts can't be reached anymore.

    Perfect job EA, go on like this, an I'm sure that half of my alli will quit forever....

  • Why do we use scripts ? Because EA does not have the core elements in the game to make it user friendly. That's why. And then, every single time they would go on touching the software they would absolutely screw up these scripts. I am just wondering why do I even continue to play this game. I know I love it but is it worth to go through this absolute non-sense.

    If you are so concerned about safe login, why don't you first make sure you replace ALL scripts.

    As with everyone, multi-account login DOES NOT WORK anymore.

    Just to make clear to EA : we started this post, because on the original post in News and announcements, you can not even reply (despite the last sentence asks to do so ....)
    OMG.... how do i make sure that no one is going to complain ....
  • Now I have log out then log in with a different account. What a pain.
  • it is not an improvement regarding the log in, but what is really fantastic about it, it gives those cheating multiaccount players a hard time ;-)

    First, sharing of accounts is against the rules.
    EA Rules wrote:

    Shared use of a single internet connection and/or computer
    You are allowed to play from the same connection or even the same computer as other players. There is no need to declare that multiple people will be participating using the same network or computer.

    Account Sharing
    Multiple people using the same account is not allowed. Should you give your login details to a fellow player, we will not undo anything the aforementioned player may do or cause, including but not limited to:
    Suspension/Ban due to actions carried out by said player
    Funds being used
    Misrepresenting you in-game in e.g. the in-game forum, in-game chat, or in-game mail
    Abandoning cities
    Attacking friends and/or allies

    As such, you should not be logging into other accounts that you do not own.

    Second, sending of message to 'other' account email or phone is part of the Two Factor Authentication system and has been set up by the original owner and is not the default by EA. I have a number of accounts that are mine, that have TFA and some that don't. All work as intended.

    Third, using multiple accounts has been abused in many different ways in the past, so if this cuts down on that then it is a good thing.

    Fourth, it is still possible with multiple browsers (supporting scripts) to log into more than 1 account at a time. Firefox, Waterfox as well as Chrome support scripts and many others too.

    Fifth, this was an EA decision not the 'developers' and the timing came as a surprise to many of them too.

  • Be careful what you write - madcap called EA idiots and has been banned from using the forum! Their loss as she put in a hell of a lot of money into the game but no more - silly fools! Now how do we get all the money back from the accounts we can no longer access, I have 5, 3 of which I have lost the origional emails from due to a time frame thing so cannot log in as EA decided in their stupidity to lose all my saved logins!
