New log in procedure

    The error 500 has been resolved i am now told and the website and login seems to have returned back to normal.

    someone was not at all correct when they told you it is back to normal. IT IS NOT. click play button and it goes to no place, just refresh the same dam page. but if you logout and close browser the reopen and try to login again then do this about a dozen times you might get lucky and be able to login eventually. it does work sometimes but mostly NOT at all.
  • nope still not working this is a total mess, ongoing for almost a month now, and EA at best does nothing to help. we just get a official run around. when chatting with customer service, who sends us to specialist who send us to game developers, who tell us the fix is found in the forums, and in the forums we try everything suggested and nothing works. Classic malfunction of intelligence hyup.

    They may call themselves game developers but I don't think they actually are the ones developing the game.

  • Still it's an EA game. Either they own it and have hired Envision to run the game for them, or it's licensed to Envision... Either way EA is on the top there as I understand it...

    According to EA Specialist and Customer Service They Officially have Nothing to do with CnC TA, and will ONLY send you to the Forums for finding information for a FIX. They do not handle the game at all. they send that to Envision who have been running the game. They do not take any responsibility for the screw up at all.
  • well... at least on the bottom of the login page it still says: © 2018 Electronic Arts Inc.
    If they have hired someone to do their work for them I still feel EA is responsible to us (the customers) for making THEIR (the owners and receiver of our payments) game work...

    Even though the government hire subcontractors to build and fix roads the government are still responsible for them!

  • unable to change servers from login page or change games in options tib 32 04:34:29 server time. cleared cache. used above link. how is it possible that once again this bug is back?????? i have been good for a week. options change game it just continues buffering btw
  • "Lets stop blaming EA". It is my understanding that Envision staff were directed to change the login procedure by EA, so that you had to login via EA rather than the C&C page And that means you are continuously logged in unless you log out, closing the browser doesn't cut it anymore. My GUESS is that someone hacked the game and had access to our information, and that this HAS NOT been disclosed (yet). Why else such a rush to change the procedure? In any case, EA is responsible (for issuing the directive to Envision) and Envision is responsible (for messing up the implementation and/or carrying out the directive in the first place). As I said before, the consequences for this action (for EA/Envision) will continue long after the actual "login" problem is resolved.

    I'd like to you to refrain from spreading unwarranted conspiracy theories.
    There is no need to sow discord with such assumptions. If there was a breach that compromised account security EA would have notified its users.

    If I had any information on why EA decided to push ahead with the SSO on short notice, I'd have given the community more information. But in the end, this would be little more then blame shifting anyway, and there is no place here for that.
    We are still working on this however. While we wait for EA's go on the server move we are working on the services today to increase stability further. Fortunately we can update those part of the games without any mayor downtime for the players.

    I will take your word for it that you all are working on a stability fix, but it's been weeks, many weeks, and logging in is still a nightmare, cropped image to change worlds, cycle back to home page and repeat, every day, for weeks!! Again today the same garbage. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. I hope you can get this monster under control because it is becoming extremely difficult to keep ones composure and not become flat out angry!! We pay money to play this game, some of us do anyway, and some of us have been here for years, YEARS, and yet we are burdened by some corporate decision that really had nothing to do with us as players yet we are being dealt the brunt of that decision via game play impossibilities! Please get this corrected!!

    I can only thank you for your patience. We have been working on our backend of the service a lot to fix this issue and it seems the amount of errors has declined for most users.
    So please tell me, how often are you still encountering this issue?

  • The only way I can switch worlds is to clear browser cache, close browser and open/login again. From there, I can change worlds. It appears to be something you are storing in cache that doesn't allow the login to go through. It gets stuck in a loop which goes back to main page each time.
  • k so i tried the link given above and i still cant get in.can i have a refund of the money sitting in my 3 accounts that i cant access and I shall be on my way ...............absolutely over this crap
  • Log in under a incognito window then log in to the same world in a regular window.
    Use the in game options after you have entered a world to change worlds [options in lower right corner]
