Reset?

Has the Test World been reset or closed. I cannot find any information on either.

what is it two or three days now? haven't seen or heard anything either...any input mods? devs?

It is an unplanned outage, but due to it being a test world it isn't the highest of priorities over a weekend. Expect it to return on Monday where it left off.

Hi everyone. I wanted to ask the following question. What are we currently testing on the test server? We have deprived the cheat code "repair Time", but given 2 days to repair. At the very least, but with this time of repair we were able to test the latest changes in the game and take the Fortress twice. Now we are deprived of this. We have 12 hours left to repair and that's it. How to test something with this and detect errors? To do anything on the server was not interested. So all the testers will scatter from the server. Maybe it's time to reset the server?

We have enabled 2d repair time yesterday again. We are currently prepping the next changes. I hope we can patch PTE with the first set of changes before the holidays, to give you guys something to test.

I hope so too - and depending on what is to be tested having the repair time cheat would be great!

sorry but what is EA gonna test on a auto click test server players cant even chat because almost all use Autoclick and for that they cant use the chat because that interrupt the autoclick.
so from here its was nice to test on pte for years but i stopped testing and wish you all the best .

I agree testing and chatting seem to have fallen by the wayside and it's become a server for auto-clicking and cheating.

If only they would find a way to combat the auto-clickers and deal with the cheaters, as they test on the PTE for production worlds.

we have the 3 cheats after the reset - and chatting can take place if you do not use autoclick

or farmbase etc

The problem is almost everyone seems to be using 5 or 6 editions of farmbase to farm with 5 or 6 bases! Cheating isn't confined to one alliance, nor to a few players.

it's a test server - no one cares about auto clicking, farm base or whatever else label you use. Envision has authorized their usage as a non moderated server and not coding active cheats for resources. You want to complain about something, complain about those using such tools believing they are untouchable Gods ready to f your world up if the wind blows. Again though, activity of which is not moderated and encouraged by Envision.

All servers are unmoderated, all servers have players doing actions against the TOS and are therefore cheating. It is not confined to the PTE!

Never stated it was confined to test. I'm stating that the TOS does not apply to PTE in any capacity.

The TOS do apply, just aren’t enforced, just as they aren’t on other servers. Auto-clickers etc have never been explicitly authorised on the PTE, just ignored.

They don't apply. Active knowledge of activity and refusal to do anything about it is in fact, endorsement. The devs are using the same tools, joined in the same alliance and are in fact actively discouraging anyone else from participating in the sandbox they control. You're delusional if you believe the TOS apply to this world.

Delusional, no. Realistic in the knowledge that the world is no different to others in respect of TOS. The devs don’t have a say in the TOS, or the sanctions as far as I am aware, that is EA.
