I'm no dev but I'm pretty sure you cannot be attacked while the server is offline. If you are being attacked the server is online.

Again, I'm just a moderator so don't take that as the gospel but my experience is that cp and rt accumulation stops when the server is down therefore getting attacked seems implausible. Perhaps something else was going on?
  • Are you sure that when there have been malfunctions in the servers have been offline?
No, many servers were online even though we could not connect with them or play in them.
The game mechanics of the servers continued to work with what we received attacks on the worlds where the forgotten attack us.
When a world went offline, then those attacks stopped but the hours (even days) that appeared as online but we could not connect, we received attacks from the forgotten. That is sure.
Not a part of EA / Envision teams - My comments are only mine.

Offline and unreachable aren’t the same. Unreachable worlds continue to run, especially forgotten attacks.

  • Hello Commanders,

we are worked through the weekend to reign in the issues with the servers and we are monitoring the situation now for any more interruptions. So far it seems reasonable to think we found and addressed the root of the problem pof the last 2 weeks. We will let you know about compensation soon.

    Belated thanks.

Unfortunately this refers to the issues in November and not over Christmas.
