Spring Challenge in WCS
Hello thats question for Eleptherion .
So you dont permit players to buy RT in WCS but you find reasonable and normal to open the Challenge in WCS and let to "buy" 7d rt? I am very sure that in previews WCS it was prohibited the challenge when it released for obvious reasons , and would be highly expected to be the same in this WCS , but surprisingly this time you permit players to leech RT and CP from infected

The contest rewards RT during base kills under the right circumstances. I can't imagine how 7 D RT to a level 46-48 offense is a benefit of any kind in a level 65 war environment. There appears to be no limits to what people complain about today.
While we're complaining, why don't we open yet another thread about the Spring Competition and spam for no reason.
I am waiting an official answer to this, from yesterday
either way, it was wrong for the developers to interfere in WCS like this. If you say you are taking away the option to artificially increase RT, then you should stick to this policy 100%. There were no infected challenges in the last WCS -- for good cause, since it can heavily shift the balance of power. Players would have had no reason to expect that this WCS would be any different, assuming no one was told in advance that there'd be a challenge.
it is disappointing to see that after all the recent controversies that landed the developers in hot water, they still insist on interfering in ways that just coincidentally end up helping a favored team. Maybe this was not their intention and they are innocent this time, but it still risks casting another shadow over WCS.
I find it controversial, convenient and interesting altogether that a Challenge which would allow a participant to acquire 7 additional days of RT to somewhat showup in WCS at a time when (hmmm) a team would need it desperately.
I think you both miss the point of what the OP said:
"So you dont permit players to buy RT in WCS but you find reasonable and normal to open the Challenge in WCS and let to "buy" 7d rt?"
So what is the point of you disabling the ability to buy RT packages BUT yet you enable a challenge to allow players to rack up RT right around the most critical time of the server when this action has defined the next course of events that followed.
Allow me to articulate my point. Schaffa, as much as I don't like some of their arrogant players, as a whole is an elite group whose experienced and knowledge in this game both from pve and pvp standpoint is unquestionable--their track record in previous WCS is living proof. So it's not a surprise that everyone wants to beat them and dethroned them. If you've been following this current WCS, you would know that Schaffa is against everyone in the top 6 alliances. Schaffa knows this for a while.
Let's backup to the date the Challenge started. This was around midpoint of the server where Angry Birds was #1 team and Schaffa was #2 team and both are on about the same pace digging-wise near the lvl30 fgt zone i believe.
Assume there was no Challenge, Schaffa would have likely kept pushing to reach center first to control the POIs but they wouldn't have much as much RT. Now picture this, do you think the outcome of the war you see today, 250 accounts (5 alliances) vs. 50 accounts of Schaffa would have been the same? I think not. I believe the Challenge had a sizable impact on that outcome.
Yes, I understand both of your argument about the Challenge being made available to everyone and anyone could have taken advantage of it. Off topic but wouldn't the same argument be made about the multi-accounting being available to everyone?
I'm not trying to resurrect that dead horse here because that is not the point. I'm just trying to point out that every time this Schaffa team seems to be at a disadvantage, something unexpected happens that goes in their favor. Example, the multi-accounting issue was address in preparation for WCS. Seriously? After all this years of it being available and complaint about and it was brushed off but then all of a sudden right before WCS it needed to be addressed, how convenient. Secondly, the counter fix to that 19.1 patch where the devs privately met with the same Schaffa team to discuss game mechanics. And now this, the Challenge appearing in WCS at the right moment. Really???
Maybe it's all coincidental. Who knows. Sorry to go off topic at the end there but i felt it was relevant to point out.
Could you please send me the best/fastest chanel to report bad conduct from Devo´s to EA compliance team?
Best Regards
> We never intended to to include the WCS server in the Challenge. When the mistake was noted the damage was done anyway as players had already jumped to the occasion and started killing the Infected camps anyway. Interrupting the world another time to disable the challenge and going through with the inevitable compensation after the initial troubles with the shop seem unreasonable at the time and more troublesome to us and the players than to just let the challenge play out. I guess that's the best answer I can give you to the OPs question, even if not the most satisfying.
Hey Mate,
Im sorry but that sounds very amateur. That´s the only server that actually theres a prize for winner, no place for noob mistakes.
Really thats funny .... You never had the intention ? So why you didnt react? You had 3 days until the timer ends and for the first infected camps to appear...And when I tried to contact with you straight away when you released the challenge what happened? I have to remind you that I opened this thread + I sent a PM to you straight away when the challenge released on WCS. But obvious you preferred to ignored completely the messages and you coming now to say " we had no the intention but we had no time to react" .
I had decided to not write again in the forum at all , as I found this behavior totally disrespectful together with all your answers but you keep lying to the community every time they call you out and you feel uncomfortable like you did again on March 5 2019 18:10

That´s the reason im still waiting the reply as the best way to get to the compliance chanel. It´s not like im asking a favor. I pay for the service so im a costumer, as a costumer im expecting a good service without amateur reply´s and attitudes. Once its cleary being a very bad service to the costumers i want to make a formal complain to whoever is the boss, the same way it works when you buy/hire any service.
The launch of the Challenge coincided with a public holiday in Germany, as per my post at the start of this thread. Whatever was done, after the challenge had launched on the WCS someone would be unhappy - it was a lose-lose situation. Would you be as unhappy if you were in Schaffa or whatever alliance was in the lead (if the challenge had helped you!)?
> You're making a number of assumptions. A) the EA have a 'compliance channel' whatever that may be B) the actions of Envision and it's staff are within the remit of such a 'compliance channel' - I don't know the answers to a) or to b) but from your remarks you're suggesting that you do know, in which case you're probably able to find such a channel on your own!
