:) problem fixed , I was able to buy funds. No computer guru , but followed the suggestions given here, I disabled firewall, using Microsoft Edge under settings ,changed cookies setting to allow all , and cleared cookies & cache.
As they're likely to be working from home and it is the weekend, I don't think you can expect them to come up with a solution until Monday at the earliest probably later in the week. In the intervening time, try some of the solutions offered in this thread. Logging out completely (even closing down the computer aftwards), trying a different browser (there are many out there that should work with the payment system other than chrome and edge) clear cookies, cache, history & session files. These practical steps have worked in the past for many with the same issue.

Hello Commanders, please make sure to allow cookies on the Website of the game when trying to purchase funds, also make sure you are actually logged in on the main page.
If you are receiving the Origin can not connect response on the funds page, can you please try and use an Incognito tab, if you are using Chrome, and try again with that?
The results might help us determine why its working for some and not for others.
I've been asked to gather some screenshots with the error message. It would help us to see whats on screen.
Also, if you hit F12 before accessing the Funds page you can open up the browser console. There could be further error messages in there that would the web-team solve this issue.
