    You keep asking how to do it fairly ? Thats the people that gets paid over the funds me and other give to this server responsibility (Developers, PMs, et all). Please don't come here acting as if you were talking to children only becuase most of us do work as well and know how things work, specially when there is money involved, and believe me most of us here have spend quite a good amount of money on this server.

    Now, what I want to know for the sake of us that have spend money on this is:
    How come the ones that were lucky enough to drop on the side of the map that had only bases level 12-15 are now getting beneficied over the ones that dropped in the 'bad' area with beggining with bases lvl 20+ and had NO pois near by and had to start digging in an area without bubble ????

    When I ask about making this fair is preciselly about this.

    Now, this server right now is literally over for the ones that started in the 'bad' area not only we are very behind but with VERY small POI bonus therefore contributing to many problems.

    How will this be fixed for those cases? If nothing will be done than be ready to give me a refund for my funds.

    Also, on another point a solution would be:
    1. Dont make it worse (what you just did);
    2. Make a proper server and release it properly not make ir broken, have lots of players to spend funds and money, than make it unfair and unplayable for most'.

    Release Management 101 mate, Build > Test > Doest it work properly ? > Approve > Release

    Chill. Do you really expect they will answer you? You will be ignored and you won't change anything =).

    They make crap bugged server, then ,, fixed it" what is more crap now =D.

    I'm just amazed they restarted bases after 5 days =D. So quick!

    Said the guy that couldn't handle the server and quit in the first 2 days. Don't come here saying anyting if you are not in it mate.
    You take care of your own money in that matter if you have even spend something.

    I mean the people who complained about the uneven base distribution were listened to but I'm not holding my breath.

    You take care of your own money in that matter if you have even spend something.

    I spend money there =) for limits etc.

    I left the server because I see this bug hole and know EA won't do anything about it. There was not a point continue the game if this amount of bugs are in and you don't know what they do to fix them. Now they show their dev power =D Fixing bases after 5 days =)

    We know the change came only after the world was underway, however a solution to the disappearing bubbles required simply its time to develop.
    If we did have a solution earlier, we would have deployed it much sooner.

    We apologize for the confusion created on Firestorm 15, but we believe the change is benefitial and necessary.

    We hope that players will come to realize this as well once they log back into the world and see that this is a less dramatic change that what it appears.

    But it is a dramatic change.

    Alliance bonuses have been flipped completely on its head. Compared to the initial bubble dropping which would have been a problem for at most, another 3 days if people hadn't already sacrificed their bubble, this will likely have severe effects that will dictate the rest of the server.

    I would be very worried to have you as a developer on my team, specially as you are trying to paint an impression here forgetting what the problem is and how its affecting most of the "active" players.

    To be honest I will be raising a complain with EA and start to make noise about my money, will where it goes.

    Now that every alliance dropped their bubble you put a solution worse than actual problem, we see you don't play your game to say that it's not a dramatic change
    Our allliance lvl POIs from 26 to 21 after digging hard bases without bubble since the beginning
    Other alliance Pois from 21 to 29 after digging easy low level bases with bubble almost all the time.
    But yeah, "not dramatic change"

    I left the server, you just killed our progress

  • You just gave more bonus to players that got a bubble advantage, and worse bonus to players that got the bubble problem drop first day, what a nice way to fix a bubble problem...
  • +1 on what has said above, would really expect EA to take actions on this otherwise its just bad.

  • I don't think they are in bad faith, they just don't know their game, they gave us a double penalty. It is time to stop giving them our money and our time.

    You might be right to be honest. Guess I'll play with the caps I've got. Then it's time to start looking for another game to play.
  • Ive never in all my years playing this game, witnessed, anything as odd as this...
    i wake up in morning to find out my teams POI have turned into trash, and my enemy POI has turned into solid GOLD !
    - in addition to this; the "food" ( bases ) that i dug yesterday ( that paid me 6-7million resources ), are now going to be 1-2 million resources
    - and my teams now aprox 60 spaces behind in distance to centre
    - and a few memebers have quit due to this ( top 50 rank guys )
    - and folks i was trying to recruit, are now laughing at my team, becuase we have ZERO to offer

    This cant be what you intended my friends, im sure of that

    Some suggestions: ( compensations )

    To make this FAIR play... i suggest leeve everything as you have changed.. except adjust the resources paid back on bases....

    example 23 base that used to be a 28 base prior to change pays what the 28 paid

    or #2
    allow TEAM affected such as mine to have there 7 day bubbles with NO limit on how deep ( distance ) there bases are

    or #3
    reset the POI's back to what they were somehow

    To say whats happenned is unfair, is truly an understatement.. What is being asked of us now, without any changes is unrealistic, and makes me sad to see

    Please help us out somehow here ...

    What we can offer are a compensation in Repair-time and CP, but this would be given out at all players of the world. I'm not sure if this is to everybody's satisfaction.
    We understand the trading of POIs like this is upsetting. But the resources gained and invested until the change are still a benefit to the respective alliances.

    The way I see it there has been a role-reversal. However, the alliance that got closer to the Fortress earlier also has a lot tougher enemies to confront now, while the players with the stronger enemies at the start have benefited from higher loot and could grow more compared to others AND now have weaker enemies ahead of them as compared to before. The time and resources invested are not lost by any means.

    Have you ever actually played this game?

    So players that lost their shields on day one get compensated byt having the value of all poi they still managed to get reduced to a fraction of what they were.
    Base levels reduced, poi bonus levels reduced and also 60+ spaces behind others.

    This server was billed as having 'irregularly distributed enemy strength'. Players started the world knowing this and a week later you change all the parameters.

    Pretty pathetic
