Relocation behind reserved area - There is no possibility to move

In Firestorm 17, there are many players that made the sector jump and ended behind the reserved territory for new players.

There is no escape from this position. Move range is shorter than the reserved area. If we can´t move, many will stop playing this server

Why did you box everyone in so only a few are next to bases. i even jumped and now i have to quit. pretty crappy you only allow your select few to be close.

Jumping at an early stage on many worlds would produce the same result. It's not a bug specific to Firestorm 17, if it is even a bug. Those with experience on other worlds would know that this has happened on worlds before.

Once enough players have landed on the world in a particular sector then the slots would be taken and the route opened up. (Is this a legitimate use of alts?

)

On the issue of the level of the malus on the world, complained about in the German forum, this has been changed slightly to make it easier. Remember however that level 80 worlds aren't meant to be quickly won with the winner reaching the centre in a few weeks or months. They are always going to be long term projects that will test your stamina (and probably your will to live if every time something bad happens to you in-game you decide to come here and complain!).

add one or two squares of neutral territory in the center of each sector near the middle of the new spawn zone so people can move off the edge of the map please devs.

Don't expect a refund - they're never given. Don't expect a response quickly either. It is the Christmas and New Year vacation time and computers aren't being used for work by the developers. They're on holiday!

setor jumping in Firestorm 17 has every player stuck on the border of the map. there are no open jump spots in the new player area to get back to the play area. so its game over if you thought to relocate. quite a bad deal there and i want my money back i spent on that server! :(

We can sit there a week until our shields drop then kill each other for a 40 space jump. no other way. so broken...

Firestorm 17. I relocated Sector and ended up behind the forbidden Territory more than 20 spaces to the occupied areas. How do I get out?

It will be over a week from the launch before the developers are back at work, so you've at least come up with a impractical suggestion.

There are a few places where you may be able to move out from the rear area. I'm in the SW and can reach the main playing area with a move of 15 - leaving 5 spare. There's as space for me in the landing area so can move out. I suspect the way the map is drawn, the SE, NE and NW areas will also provide some spaces where you can jump and re-join the main part of the world.

Sit and farm the camps and grow and pray for them to look at the issue and come up with a solution quickly once back at work.

The reason why we jump is that we have joined an alliance and we want to start with them. After we jump we cannot move again. How can your game developers allow this to happen?

The majority that I see trapped aren't in an alliance. I have no response to make about how they can allow this to happen!

Whatever - holiday or not. I couldn’t move for about 24h after the sector jump = game over. Doesn’t matter that this is a world that takes a long time. I couldn’t start as usual so there is only one solution -> give me back the funds I have used!

Its not the players fault - it’s yours!

Mr. Moderator, you're not much help, are you? Blaming the players is wrong. The player cannot tell where we end up after a jump. I have been playing for eight years and have never come across this problem. Tell that to your development team.

we quit the alliance and soon the server because we cant play from the oceanfront. duh. i was in an alliance when i moved

I've been playing for only slightly less and know that when you jump a sector you go backwards. Looking at the map from the start and taking a rough guess on the amount of backward jump (there's a rule of thumb number, I just can't remember it!) should have told you that it was a risk that you would end up on the beach.

I have also seen this happen on other small worlds, so it's not a unique situation.

relocate again to the south its almost full but still lots of room to get to the bases we all shooting at projekt its gunna be so much fun
