PSA: Alts Ruin the Game
For centuries now your users have complained about how alts ruin this game. Yet, there is nothing you have done about it other than diminishing returns on bases hit by multiple players... which really hurts team play and actually promotes the use of alts.
To everyone who uses alts including myself - stop. All you do is pre-hit bases. How does that prove your skill?
The game is really broken and its a shame because under the right circumstances this game once promoted team play and was fun as hell.

In all cases, the system can't predict who is going to attack next nor what the total number of attacks is going to be.
The only way anything like this would work is for the system to record the number of attacks and amount of damage until a base is killed and only release the resources after the base is killed. If it is never killed, then no resources released.
Unfortunately using alts for killing bases isn't their only misuse!
That is perhaps the most disturbing thing. Alts have a variety of misuses... killing an alt to take territory in a difficult spot, covering poi, using alts as pvp, test sector jumps, spying... the list goes on and on. I suppose I have delusions of grandeur but I dream it should be possible to enforce the one account rule in 2022.
Perhaps, the technology simply doesn't exist.
i'm perfectly happy to have no alts if chad gets rid of his, i just use mine for pvp fun.

You need some serious reality check...

im not going to argue in forum about it, but your posts are still there. i play alone and my alts are all named thurston to easily identify them. ive already quit that server dude its all yours.
i strongly agree, there are no 2 players using the same IP. out of almost 8 billion people worldwide we can barely get 1500 in a server and your telling me some people might have the same ip due to reasons? i think not but maybe and you know i think its too bad for those people but alts do need to go. i honestly enjoy playing alone though and it is useful to have a few extra accounts i can depend on. after 10 years playing this ive seen everything this community has to offer and all the tricks in the book and thats why i prefer to play alone. i normally wouldnt agree with someone like this but chris is also right, project/projekt and what is going on in every other non FA world is the same thing. its always been 5 alliances vs 1 at a time because nobody has a chance to learn how to play except for the same few teams that have won every server for years now. its not that there are no players left its just that the majority of players all know each other and play together so regardless of how many players there are in the server this wont change ever now. the only solutions to this are starting more servers so we have more options on which type of environment to play in or less badges given away to reduce mass cooperation. you cant tell me a new player coming into the game is going to learn how to play when they are wiped off the map in a week by the ever present dominating forces of project and projekt in each server.
we wont suddenly have more players to go against project in a FA no malus world. im sorry but that part of the game is over, i realize that new players still start late there in those types and i have noticed some project players going out of their way to put on a new charm offensive since reading this forum and realizing what they have done in t53 and wcs is kinda bad for the game state. but its far too late to ever have a real competitive environment in this game anymore without giving new players a chance to learn and enjoy all facets of the game while being competitive. so maybe make new player servers or easier servers that require less skill and are more balanced in terms of progression. things like reducing poi bonus, changing the forgotten base spawning system to make those defense layouts easier for everyone to kill and shortening the distance to center so that more players can interact in the higher levels of the game as well. as it is i think what will happen is that the project players will be left alone on FA servers, while the majority of cooperating projekt players will continue to start and likely win all the rest of the non FA servers. w28 is not different either, all the players in the top teams know each other and lay together on other servers. this might be hard to understand but normal people like winning or at least having a chance.
