morale
world tib 54, here there seems to be a glitch, from time to time all camps and outposts in our alliace area display the warning triangles of morale.
is it a glitch or do we have a problem, i will see if the simm results change after a couple of simms.

further to my convo about glitch it appears when i click on my second base there are triangles on everything when i click on my main they are gone, is there something i can do.
Also the numbers in setup are not all there, the second number is 2 dots, i can live with it only simming can be lengthy, is this the right place to discuss issues like this or should it be elsewhere.
thank you
Interesting watching the morale numbers change when toggling between bases, which at first i thought was some kind of glitch. while simming the outcome changes each time so i take a photo of my best army setup, log out then in and arrange my army . Though I know its tedious and why i begin slow rally well. Not sure yet if morale is harder than fg attacks.
Question, If my defence were higher than an fg base would it reduce the morale figure?
good game to you pete wish all the best at beating the fortress, we are on the same world.
On the in-game simulator (and some others) there's a facility to save an army setup. This means you don't need to take a 'photo', the system records your setup.
It's your army attack offense level that you need to look at. Your defence has no effect on the morale figure. The Forgotten defence compared to your army is the deciding factor.
my translator doesnt have a setting for welsh, iggy...
Morale is governed by the size of the world. For small servers it seems the morale kicks in when camps/outposts/bases are +4 of a player's offense level. On larger worlds, the morale kicks in at +6 of the player offense level.
I am sure there is a general morale-to-world size formula that the devs have. I am unsure if that's considered private or not. @EE_Elephterion can you confirm the above?

Either way, it's unlikely a simple formula will be used as many variables are no longer inter-dependant as they were in the past. A standard number for each size world is more likely, but with the ability to change it that wouldn't be available if it was a formula.
I appreciate @gamerdruid's responses, but the response is an opinion and vague, and I'd prefer if we get official guidance. Has anything changed in the past 3 years to the morale system for worlds?
I'm also okay if EA's official position is that the morale system and how it works is not public information. But if it is okay to know how certain parts of the morale system work public please provide us some guidance so we aren't guessing.
as far as I can say is that there is a fixed value for the difference when the Morale malus starts to take effect. That value would be 4 for Morale Worlds and 6 for worlds having both, Morale and Forgotten Attacks. That is the only thing we can affect directly, the scaling of the actual malus is fixed however.
The scaling is however also affected by other factors like the Max level and world size, hence we resolved tho avoid launching Morale world with max level 80 for the foreseeable future. The increase in NPC levels is steeper on high level worlds, so the malus is more severe. We plan to have an update for the game in the future to enable more control for us to adjust the difference as well as the scaling factor manually for worlds.
