2 questions:
The screenshots are cut off from the bottom, so not very clear.
Also the defense layouts are missing.
1. Could you post the full cncopts or screenshots with defense layouts seen?

2. Please clarify if morale setting going to be +4 or +7 ?
+4 is basically unplayable, hope you do not have to change settings after the server starts

Could you clarify double the POIs?
Does this mean double the number of POIs or the bonus of POIs is doubled?

But if there are no Forgotten Attacks, 7 seems like it would be too fast. Also, 7 is not high enough to prevent multi-accounting, the malus needs to be higher to really reduce the effectiveness of this tactic.
High malus slows progression with attacks activated since the pace makes forgotten attacks worse. So yea, I agree strategies have to change in such an environment.
Maybe go for the Uranium.
I think it will stick around for a while.

Malus 4 is a very special setting, taking a lot of time, knowledge and effort. New eco was built for that setting, you can feel it. I'd still prefer malus 4, because malus is punishing you hard raising 20% per level (as far as i know, maybe 15%^^), no quickies. Double the POIs is actually a smart idea I think, making "luck" a bit less of a factor.
Something "new" like malus 5 with the punishing rising setting from malus 4 would probably be interesting, enabling to switch to the next tunnel more quickly, reducing the overall time, but still needing a lot of insight for longterm eco and main. But farming would be brutal at malus 5 i guess. :D
m4 or m5, my 2 cents. m7 is a bit too easy without FA for the best battling
