Are defensive linemen going to be patched in later?

Someone who has played 18 please tell me I'm wrong but I've watched a handful of games now and the AI defensive linemen don't seem to try at all on a qb drop back. Texans vs Bears Clowney and Watt didn't get a single sack or knockdown? Arguably not even a hurry? Unless its a screen or playaction pass it looks like the linemen aren't doing anything for a pass rush. Same clean pocket every play for 6-10 seconds. Has anybody seen different?

I played 18, I was just running through Solo MUT challenges. DT's didnt get any pressure. I was able to create pressure using my ENDS. Keep in Mind these are low rated players, vs low rated players in Rookie/Pro on Arcade ( these are the settings during the challenges ).

So from that perspective I generated pressure/sacks/hits but again on lower end difficulties so cannot comment on All-Pro / Simulation settings.

From what i've experienced so far they're pretty bad when it comes to pass rushing. They do fine against the run for the most part, but it's hard to get pressure on the passer from the middle. DE's and LB's are fine for the most part but seem really inconsistent; one play they'll go right through the line, the next they'll all be stuck in their blocks for literally 6-10 seconds, even if i'm user controlling them. It really makes some of the cover drills in connected franchise annoying as hell to get a gold medal on because you can't cover forever.
With that being said, the only team i've used so far is The Patriots, who don't necessarily have the best pass rush but it's not the worst either.

Bro I made a post about the samething. The offensive line is OD and without a patch im done with 18. Its not realistic and makes people look wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than they are. My patients with Madden has come and gone.
