Any tips and tricks for running the ball or blocking so I can run the ball? I keep only getting 1-2 yard runs.

Try running the ball that displays the red box on that side of the football field.

follow your blockers and don't hit sprint till you've hit the 2nd level because defenders somehow automatically shed blocks the instant you hit sprint

@ SportyHero I thought the red box was the side you should avoid, and the green box was the side to run to.
