Quitters in MUT

I think that people that quit should get no XP points and if you make someone quit, you get double XP points. This would work great if EA/Microsoft could figure out how to get rid of these people that desynchronize the game. What do you guys think?

  • Might not b such a bad idea if the game wasn't just a dumpster fire. I just lost on a catch on 4th and 38 in quad coverage. Nobody will b playing this trash much longer. It's only September and they're hemmoraging players.
  • I think people should get something for at least trying and not pulling the plug once they see their opponents top 3 is all maxed out players and their own top 3 are the three that they give you when you first start.

I think its probably as good as we are going to get. I don't think people should be penalized for wanting to move on to a game that they can enjoy and have a possibility of winning. If they ask people to just sit through getting blown out for 30 minutes, then they're probably not going to play MUT at all. MUT is so time consuming, that faster turnover rate is imperative to finally getting to improve one's team.

What they should do, is offer some kind of incentive for finishing all 4 quarters other than just XP. A coin bonus for finishing would not only deter people from quitting, but would also deter people from running up scores and showboating, etc.

Running up the score, high-stepping, stalling at the goal line (taunting) etc., doesn't reward the winner with anything more than they were already going to get. They are just ways to be a jerk and in playing online, its not like it was back in the day when you could take your buddy outside for trying to insult and disrespect you.

I think even a 'finishing' token would be a good idea. A token awarded for finishing all four quarters tat could be applied to a set for an AUCTIONABLE player, or even a chance at the wheel of tokens or training. I think that would be better than having to trade in your cards, that could wind up having more value elsewhere, for a chance at the prize wheels.

Maybe if a 'finishing' token had a quicksell value of like 200 coins. Or for instance, if you could add 50 finishing tokens to a set and be rewarded with an auctionable 84-85 OVR player. 75 for an 86-87 OVR. 100 for an 88-89, 150 = 90-91, 250=92-93, 325=94-95, 400=96-97, and 500 finishing tokens gets you an auctionable 98-99 OVR.

Any incentive to finish would be great for the game. XP really doesn't amount to much other than unlocking challenges and unlocking the opportunity to spend MORE REAL $$ on Level Packs.

Coach, you really too the time to think this over, that is great. I like your idea. We'll see if EA has their ears open.
