Frustrating end to every game

Now before anyone tells me to "just get better," I've been playing Madden for quite a long time now. This year's Madden is by far the worst I've played ever. I was wondering if anyone else experiences this in addition to me:

You can play dominate defense throughout the entire game up until even midway through the fourth quarter and then all of a sudden the computer becomes unstoppable and they erase a two possession lead with ease and you end up losing the game.

This pretty much makes the game unplayable -_- I play on All-Pro, I haven't switched down to Pro yet to see if it happens there, too..But I always play on All-Pro.

Any feedback would be appreciated

Your right it feels like it's set up for every game to be close, I've literally dominanted guys on booths sides of the ball, just to drop more than 5picks a game, playing guys who run the same plays as the guy you just played so you already know the offense and reads of the QB, just to get serveral bad animations of a receiver catching a pass that goes through the DB. The second half is worse you can stop it stop it stop it. Just to get DL, glitch we're a DL beats the OL, and RB in 1.5seconds. it's pretty bad the problem is, the people who keeps just dealing with it and not hold EA accountable, you pay $60 bucks a year for a roster update when it can just be add to an already downloaded program, the DEV, for Madden are so out of touch they make sure just to save face. I'll never purchase Madden again it's not worth it. All you guys that think it's good and SUPPOSED to realistic, it's far from that. My last one I've watch football for over 20 years and have never saw a offense run a dive, and 8 of 11 defenders are pancakes, come on you guys get real.

At least I'm not going crazy. I've been playing Madden for quite awhile, but I don't buy a new one every year. I'll get one every few years. I figured I was due for an update this year. The reviews were good, but I suppose I should've read around forums from actual game players rather than website reviewers. The game is almost unplayable. It's sad that NFL 2K5 is still a better game than anything EA puts out.

While I can manage to hold on and eeek out a victory, yes the computer gets better and your computer controlled players get worse depending on the score. If you are losing by a lot, it does seem to flip back towards you to help you get back in the game.

I eek out a victory every now and then, but I've yet to experience it flipping back into my favor. The score differential in the 4th quarter is only by 13 points or less though, either winning or losing. I've yet to play a game which was a blowout entering the 4th. I wonder if this is a new trend, or if it was in last year's game as well?

You are 100% correct, in fact I KNOW when the computer is going to block and extra point or FG it is so bad.

I have a 93 overall in Ultimate Team, and I have 94 -93 overall HOF and Xavier Rhodes maxed, with 30 lockdown and 30 pass rush and I get beat by SILVER and low gold guys for TD's over the top when I am playing with everyone back and expecting over the top.

The cheating is insanely bad in Solo Battles. Some games it plays normal, then the game when you are about to hit Ultimate and playing a crap 76 team, you are getting cheated for sure.

I do not think the game is broke, I think it is working as intended in a attempt to get people to purchase more UT cards, they made like 600 million of MUT cards alone last year.

There was an article last year about "adaptive AI" and EA admitted this is a real thing programmed into their games to keep them competitive. It's not a bad thing if it's implemented well, but all it does now is come across as AI cheating, not adapting.

Ahhh, so it is a real thing! I'm all for being more competitive when it comes to games, as I do like a challenge, as well as, most other people too, I'd assume? However, you're right, it was not implemented well at all. There were a handful of times in my first season in franchise mode, where the AI WR would blow away from my CB for a 60+ to win the game, after I'd had already intercepted the AI QB 3-4 times through the game prior -_- I'm not a big gamer, as I only have a few, but it's a nice way to unwind and it shouldn't be as frustrating as it is. It kind of takes the fun out of it.

My biggest problem with the Madden development team is the game regresses more than it progresses! Suction animations in 2018? Really EA? Delayed running animations, dropped passes, boring tackles, same garbage with All- Madden level. No real innovations in either parts of the game.
Its a really sad thing when you play Madden 18 and it feels better than 19!
The only positive is they finally got the edit over a player some what right but you still can’t change left or right arms. No competition is the main reason the game sucks!
