Can I have Calvin Johnson on Offense and Defense?

Before I invest on getting the 99 Golden Ticket Calvin Johnson, I already have him on offense, I was wondering if the game will let me have him on both offense and defense simultaneously.

not exactly sure, but I strongly assume that it doesn't work. for instance, it is not possible to include different versions of an ultimate legend (for instance if the player has a HB and a FB card). it is also not possible to have another version of the same player on special teams or specialists … therefore I'd conclude that this holds also for offense and defense, unfortunately.

as I said, I'm not sure, but I would not invest in the GT...
