CAN'T SAVE DEPTH CHART FOR H2H???

Replies

  • wrong we've been able to save our online h2h depth chart until this year
  • Yes, me too.
  • I was told to report it. Can someone report it please?

  • I reported it. The more people that report it the better chance we have to get it fixed.
  • @EA_Blueberry - Are you going to continue to ignore the problem? at least explain to us the LOGIC behind this?

Again, this was on every single madden in the past - you are allowing us to save it DURING the session, but not beyond it? why? just explain.
I'll be waiting for a response by @EA_Blueberry on this. It simply doesn't make sense and we demand at the very least if not a fix, then an explanation.
This doesn't make any sense @EA_Blueberry - At the very least I feel you owe us a clear explanation.

The feature has been in the game since forever basically, it's a massive time-saver, why on earth will you make it harder for us to play the game? it's very time consuming for no reason.

So people stop playing h2h and only play MUT to give you guys even more money? that's 100% wrong - explain yourself, give us even one legit reason behind this silly, terrible decision.
    Hey, @BusterTimeM

I found out this is not considered a bug and by design. I've relayed everyone's sentiment here on how it can be inconvenient to re-adjust the depth charts, feedback like this is a great addition to a quality of life change list.

  • Just another example of them purposely removing features from online H2H to drive people to MUT. Just like they removed the compare stats and history features back in Madden '18. We're not going to get an explanation, just maybe repeated responses saying they are aware of it. Very sad way to treat their customers.

This was not a feature removed to drive players to another game mode. From what I relayed previously this is not considered a bug, but by design. Although it's by design it does not mean that is how a team intended for it to be as their ideal result, or it may have been a feature that can be improved over time through updates via player requests. This is what would be called a quality of life feature.

We've shared your feedback with the team on how forcing the depth charts to save would create a better experience for you in H2H games and as a player myself, I understand your perspective on how it can be tedious to manually re-adjust depth charts every time you load up the game.

Thank you for creating a conversation around this and relaying us your concerns. We'll provide updates here if we hear any future changes around H2H Depth Charts.
  • Thanks for addressing this issue with further information. This is helpful @EA_Blueberry

I still fail to understand the logic of this move. As mentioned, they literally allow to save it within the session so why not allow to save between sessions? should be easy enough.

I would like to once again ask you to contact the team to press this issue as it is very time consuming to re-do depth each time.

    Thank you!

  • You didnt answer his question. Why did you take this feature away its very time consuming.
  • Exactly -- WHY was it changed? And "a quality of life feature?" Seriously? "Ruining the game feature," maybe. And as for it not being done to drive people to other modes, I bet it DOES work in those other modes, doesn't it? But I wouldn't know because I don't play them.

    I don't care how bad/hard life gets... I'm not playing MUT 😂
  • Moral of the story: We want the feature back. I don't know how exactly yall messed that up. @EA_Blueberry I should be able to save my depth charts from the main menu so that I don't have to do them again (Until the weekly roster update comes of course, understandably).
I just wanna jump straight into a ranked match without having to go through my whole team every time I turn Madden on.

Btw, anybody know if this happened as well on Madden 20, just outta curiosity? I skipped out on Madden last year (Diehard Ravens fan, I Had to this year lol)
  • @jagswag21 It worked fine in '20.
  • Its really not fair. It would be such a simple update to fix it.
  • @EA_Blueberry It seems the answers you provided aren't going enough based on the reaction.

We really need a fix to this issue, it simply makes no sense - please address this issue again to the team because again... it's allowed to save depth within the session right? so why not between sessions?
  • PLEASE respond to the issue of having to Re-save roster adjustments for H2H play. Also Re-saving H2H advance settings every time the Xbox is turned on? Thanks
  • We are still waiting for a response from EA about saving roster adjustments every time you start up the system😉
