I am currently in my 7th season as a head coach and in my second season as a quarterback in two different save files. This morning both save files have gotten this error code everytime i try to play or something a game. I got this error code earlier in October and had to delete all of my save files to fix it. I am extremely disappointed that this has happened again. If there is a long term fix to this problem I would like to know what it is. I'm tired of having to completely restart my franchises and losing all of the hard work and progress I made every few weeks because this error is still a problem.
Do you know if your console was abruptly shut down during a save in progress? That can lead to corrupted save files. I'm really sorry to hear about what's been happening to you though, I can't imagine going 7 seasons only to experience an error. I know there's a huge emotional connection to building up franchises.
Same issue happening for me. First time I uninstalled the game and reinstalled. It worked. Now yesterday began getting the same error code, online franchise AND offline crashing mid game, then telling me the save game data is corrupted and I cannot continue that game. Happens every game I have tried since, never fails. Very frustrating.
No my console didn't shut down abruptly this time. I was actually playing a game when it happened that morning. And before it happened I had played two games before that so the console was on for awhile before it even happened. I started a new save file and so far it hasn't happened in that one but I am still upset that I lost my coach franchise. Every year I play as a coach for the lowest rated franchise and I will play that same franchise for 30+ seasons. I get deeply into them and right now it's hard to try and start another one because I'm afraid of this happening again.
I keep getting this every time I play a season game. Madden 21 Franchise Error Code CE-34878-0. I have initialized, reloaded the game, updated, un plugged, restarted my router, tried another internet connection, changed my ps id Rebuilt my data base. What is the fix. I can't play franchise games. I can play against friends and random people. Please tell me what to do. Been playing madden online for years. This has never happened to me before. Been going on for about 2 or 3 weeks.
I am also experiencing the ce-34878-0 error. For me, it happens in in an online Franchise Mode. We've just finished a season and are about to start the draft for the next one. When I click "make draft selection" under "things to do", the game force closes and i get the ce-34878-0 error message. I've tried clearing my cache, restarting game/ps4 several times, and initialized the ps4 and redownloading the game. Please help @EA_Blueberry !!
Can you check to see if there are any corrupted save files either locally or in the cloud for your profile?
Question about your setup. I assume nothing is plugged into the PS4's USB slots and is your power cable plugged into the wall or surge protector? Have you unplugged the power from the wall/surge protector to see if that could help?
I had the black screen of death on my XB1 and tried everything I could to get it to work, no steps at all helped that was provided online. I was able to figure out the solution to it by unplugging the actual cable from the surge protector and unplugging the surge protector from the wall. Some strange electric issue, I guess.
@EA_Blueberry No I am not simming the weeks. It happens when me and my opponent load up to play.. I get the error during the loading screen before the game.. I then have to Sim the week because I can’t play, and yes I do mean reinitializing. I first quit the Franchise it was happening to me in, and then I got a new invite into the Franchise, and it still happened. I then deleted Madden from my console, and reinstalled it, and it still happened. I then reinitialized my PS4 without backing any info up, and it’s still happening.

@Aggie0875 Same here. The bad part about me is that I’m actually a commissioner in the league it’s happening to me in. Imagine being the person that organize and advanced the league daily but can’t even play your games.

Madden is terrible this year. I can’t even play online franchise. Games crashes after choosing playbook then ready loads for like 15 sec then boom back to dashboard. I’ve done everything it says to do. At this point I just want my money back thanks.
Hey I’ve found a fix for blue screening in an online franchise when trying to play another opponent. Kick the user(your opponent) out the league then attempt to load into a game with the cpu. If it loads it’s working. If not then after the user is kicked, switch to a new team, then back to your original team then invite the user back to the league and it should load into the game perfectly. This is what I did on ps4 after 16 blue screens in a row and it worked.
Ce-34878-0 this errors happens to me and multiple owners in my connected franchise followed all the steps it says to fix this issue none of them have worked for any of us. We can sim the game and then the next week usually works fine but the issue is happening more and more frequent this needs to be fixed it’s not even the money that was wasted on a game that i can’t always play it is the time i am wasting we are in a very competitive friend franchise and i am just waiting for the error to happen in our super bowl
