EA Blue explain...Abilities

EABlue can u please explain why created players don’t have access to certain X factor and/or superstar abilities? I created a safety yet there is no avalanche option or enforcer option. Sometimes reinforcement is not there to choose either. Also noticed a bunch of other abilities that never show up for us to choose. Can this be explained? Also why on earth can’t we a choose/change abilities for players when we are the coach in franchise mode? At least for rookies and created players?
