I’ll tell you what

Just replaying UFC 2 after the good ol’ college try of UFC 4 and I’m just too done with it. I started a career in 2. It’s by far, by a longshot, a million times better then the best aspects of 3 and 4 put together.
You want rag doll - IN
You want unscripted KOs - IN
TKOs - IN
Ref jumping in the way stoppage - IN
Multiple hooks, uppercuts, heavy punches, overhands and straights - IN
Varied angles of all strikes - IN
Fluid animation - IN
Choose between 2-3 opponents in career mode -IN
Go up OR DOWN a weight class - IN
Etc, etc, etc too much to list
All that EA has to do is update graphics, put in some new animations, put in current rosters, and spice up the career mode from 2. Then we will have the best MMA game on the planet. Period.

I find ufc 2 graphics you flicker since playing ufc 4.

    You are correct!

But why wouldn't EA do as you suggest? Especially if the really valued their customers.

Because the masses that only want completely new everything would frown upon it. Plus they couldn’t advertise for an older game reboot with some new features even if it would be awesome. Clear they cater to the Online micro transaction hipsters and not the real mma fans and people who know what a truly good mma game feels like and looks like. Not buying another EA game for any sport. Same thing with Madden 21. They lost a life long customer.

Ok so I buy a 2020 car. Then the manufacturer releases the 2021 model of that car. So that means that the manufacturer won't fix any defects or address any problems with the 2020 model? So regardless to how much money I've spent on car, and regardless to the fact that my car does still run, and its only a year old, and the problems are minor and relatively easy to be fixed, I should simply go buy the newest model of the car? ****!

Gamers should utterly reject the Games As A Service model. It really does not benefit the customer.

A game is made out of software. It has no parts that wear out. It has no components that age. It will be just as good tomorrow as it is today. So If I have UFC 2 that is 93% okay today it will be 93% okay tomorrow. If EA puts out UFC 3, that doesn't change the fact that my UFC 2 is still working. But EA is telling the customer that they will not fix the 7% defects (even though they could), but instead recommend that you buy the next version of the game. And the next version of the game is simply a copy of the last version of the game with a few more problems.

So as consumers the only real option we have is to not support EA.

So EA and other game publishers have been successful in brainwashing their customers to just buy the next version, regardless to how well the current version works, regardless to how much investment in time, money, and effort the customer has invested in the previous version. The game publishers have brainwashed the customer to believe and hope that any defects in the current version will all be resolved in the next version, but the fact is the next version is purposefully released with defects, setting the customers up so they will buy some future version. So its a hustle. The game never has all the features the customer wants working at the quality EA promises because the goal is to get you to always buy the next version and to find a way to make you spend 100's maybe 1000's of dollars on the current version in the mean time.

So actually instead of the customers doing the playing, the customers are totally being played and pimped.
