Today on @MaddenNFLDirect we put out a tweet saying, "The MUT team is aware and investigating an issue for Solo Battles on PS4 where players are unable to use their MUT team against one particular opponent."
For an Update to this issue:
- The team has identified the issue impacting both PS4 and PC players at this time and will be making sure the issue is addressed for Phase 2 of Solo Battles happening on Wednesday.
- In order to keep the integrity and fairness of Solo Battles Leaderboards, the MUT team has decided to leave the games as is. Meaning, whether you played these impacted games or not, you will not be at an advantage or disadvantage on the Solo Battles Leaderboards.

I feel that EA_Blitz's solution does not address the needs of players that do not compete for 'Solo Battles Leaderboards'. For instance, I can only manage All-Pro and however around MVP tier. The one solo battle I chose the 86 ovr opponent (the highest of the group). I could not use my MUT team and had to played using the Bears roster. Won 22-3; however a DNF. Yeah, I think this would drop the week's potential loot. tier.
You know the featured opponent of the week is 87ovr? Thats higher than my team.
Again for those that are not competing for Solo Battles Leaderboards and trying to claw and scrap loot tiers... you're not helping...
Frustrated. Disappointed.
on legend and won, but got zero battle score and a DNF. So please, explain to me how that doesn't put me at a disadvantage. I even saved the game footage as proof. Way to try and lay a blanketed cookie cutter response to cover [Removed - CM]

Where's the disagree button though?
frankly, as long as it is possible to stop every drive of your opponent immediately by using a glitch (and even get a bonus for an INT when doing so), I think it is completely inappropriate to use the term "fairness" in connection with Solo Battle rankings. it is not fair at all for all players who play this game "in a normal way" without exploting any glitches.
this ranking is not fair at all! so, please:

Here is what should happen:
1. The "Phase 1" of Solo Battles should end now and you should spend time fixing the issue before "Phase 2".
2. You lower all the point requirements for each level by the average points needed to make a reward level (250k requires you to average 19,230 a game to reach in 13 games. Reduce the 250k by 96k and make the new Legend rank would require you to score 154k points. MVP rank requires 200k total or 15,384 a game to reach in 13 games. Reduce the 200k by 76k to 124k. Etc.)
This provides an equal chance for everyone.
The team updated the community in today's Good Morning Madden stream. It can be found here (timestamped it for you)
Expect a Midfield and Redzone pack for those that played the challenge. Keep an eye on MaddenNFLDirect for updates. They're looking to get the make-good out today or tomorrow.
I'm really wondering why I'm still playing MUT. there is no mode which is fun playing on the long run. and one of my "favorite" MUT modes in terms of causing frustration is Solo Battles.
and it is not because I do not like the idea (i.e. playing against diverse lineups of other players), it is because it is just unfair in terms of rewards. every player who tries to play the game in a more realistic, diverse style (and that's from my perspective the only way how playing a football game could be fun), has such a big disadvantage! or is any player able to come up with these final stats in one full Solo Battle game? (taken from one of the youtube-videos that show you how to "cheat" in Solo Battles. just google it! it was uploaded by one of the players who is promoted in EA's Madden Live program. really!)
(just look at the turnovers! => it's a pity that you can't see the "Time of Possession" on the stats sheet...)
it is just completely ridiculous to use the terms "integrity" and "fairness" in connection with MUT Solo Battles leaderboards!
if you are not yet convinced about my frustration with Solo Battles, here are more of my thoughts, which probably serve more for my self-therapy (cc. frustration) than any improvement in the game
Solo Battle #1 in the Friday update is broken on PC. base teams (49ers vs. Bears)... 40 seconds play clock (which means even more loss of time for every play)... it is even possible to simulate the game... and of course: DNF
if it were not true, hardly to believe...
frankly, I'd feel so ashamed releasing a game with so many bugs and glitches. and EA is so bold even demanding cash for further content (i.e. packs, LTDs...) ...
Relayed that to the team to find out more info.
since I did not hear anything on that too I was wondering whether there was a make-right for PC players who faced the 2nd broken Solo Battle game. there was a make-right for affected players the first time (when it occured on both platforms PC and PS) which I also received but none for the second time (which happened during the Friday release of Solo Battle games in the week when xBox was affected). my rewards weren't affected because I was in the top 100 and my rank probably wouldn't have changed much, but I suspect that other players might have reached a lower rewards tier because of the one game that ended in a DNF.
