Deleting original game after upgrade?

The original madden 21 is 90 GB. The series x upgrade is only 47 GB. Is it ok to delete the original? Curious as to how the upgraded game is smaller.

If you don't plan to play the Gen 4 version you can delete it and still play the next-gen version.
