Can we talk about the the Drew Brees issue that's about to happen in franchise?

Drew Brees is on the 7-week injured reserve on Madden. The Saints put him on the 3-week injury reserve in real life. If he is put on the 7-week in madden he will miss the rest of the season. Therefore those of us who play the "Use Real-Life Roster" mode on franchise and who happen to like the Saint will not be able to play Drew Brees for the rest of the season.

I am asking you to inform the devs of this so they can potentially find a fix for this and get it pushed to this week's roster update ( or at least next week's PLS). One way might be to actually add the 3-week injured reserve into the game. It's an actual NFL rule and injuries are a big part of football. Another might be to just take Brees off of injured reserve in the game(this is probably easier). He will probably end up coming back a week early anyway and the injury length is definitely right in-game.

It would be really nice to see this fix

    Hey, @koolkev258

It looks like this is because of the new rule and it's possible it wasn't included in this year's version, thus the team will have to make a change in weekly update. We'll flag it down to them.

    Injured reserve
COVID-19 rule: In 2020, a player going on injured reserve is allowed to return after missing only three weeks, and teams may return an unlimited number of players from injured reserve throughout the year. In a normal year, a player can't return from injured reserve unless he has missed at least six weeks' worth of practice and eight weeks' worth of games, and teams are limited to two players per year that they can return from injured reserve.

This year, a player on injured reserve can return to practice after three weeks. Once a team activates a player from injured reserve, it has 21 days to return him to the active roster. Reserve/COVID-19 is separate than injured reserve. Players on that list may return whenever they clear the testing protocol.

  • I don’t know why we can edit injures like nba 2k . We should be able to extend or shorten players time away since the devs can’t be accurate
  • @koolkev258 yeah looks like you have to turn off preexisting injuries when you start in current week and just keep him benched untill you want him to return.

Hope they can fix it this week but at least try to fix it by next week.
