Why did my 93 OVR team get blown out by a OVR 79 team in Solo Battles

Does anyone know why a 79 team score 21 unanswered points against a 93 team in Solo Battles. The CPU team had a running back that outran my 94 Sanders, left him in the dust. There 75 QB made 93.7% of his passes. They made first downs on 3rd and 18. They shut down my 95 RB like he was a wet noodle. My lowest player on my entire team is a 92. And the point of Madden to do this is why?

Tonight I was able to play idk again in Solo Battles on another person's system. They're Madden OVR is 86. I had NO problem beating idk, the 79 OVR team and they scored 0 points off of me. So...EA Sports, why the complete lack of consistency? Why should I invest countless hours and money on building an Elite team to have them get blown out when an average team can easily win? I feel bad for John Madden. His name is used in vain more than JC's thanks to EA Sports.

Honestly I don't know what to tell you. Upsets actually do occur in real life. Are you suggesting that the highest rated team should always win? There were many times the great Barry Sanders rush 13 times for 4 yards. The best receivers will drop passes at the wrong time.

You built a great team. Congratulations. Well done. But this idea that this automatically means a great game... again, don't know what to tell you.

"It's rigged... the games are predetermined" Is that what you want to hear?
