An announcement about the Madden Overdrive forums.

Hello all,

We wanted to reach out to you all regarding the future of the forums.
After lengthy discussions and carefully analysing data, we’ve made the decision to sunset the Madden Overdrive ea.com forums

Not to worry though, there's still a place to discuss the game, give feedback and get help. You can post over on Answers HQ. You can start posting there today if you wish too.

So, what happens next?

As of June 14th 2019 we will be putting this board into read-only mode. This means you will not be able to add new posts, but you will be able to browse previously posted content.

This is never an easy decision to make and we thank you for your contribution to the community. Your feedback and comments are highly valued, and we hope to continue to read them on AHQ.

I feel as if this is an attempt to brush off how bad this years game is and a way to avoid alot of the consumers issues and answering to them.

I agree...EA is tired of hearing about the bad decisions they make. I bet if all the comments here were good shutting down this board wouldn't be an issue at all. EA's like a child throwing a tantrum when they don't get attention... and in this case it's praise.

So David, why isn't EA shutting down all their boards? why is it only this one?

(Probably cause they don't like the fact that people here spread the news about not spending money on the game and that it's a waste of time. EA wants to be able to sucker in all those newbies that start playing)

@Koalii33 At this time we're going over our boards and restructuring where necessary. On Answers HQ there are quite a few changes, and we are closing 2 other boards here link 1, link 2. This is something we do from time to time, due to our large amount of games and forums.

You folks may not believe me, but this isn't related to criticisms or complaints, and you can still raise issues and concerns over on AHQ.

So if we raise issues on that answers HQ is there someone that's gonna be monitoring the questions and answering them?
