You're gaslighting lol there is no way you play this game and don't experience these issues. Even professional Madden players complain about these things lol
I wonder why I don’t experience the issues you’re speaking of to your extent, don’t get me wrong there are little things with madden 20 like its a video game right?
I do experience what your talking about but click one and the real stick skills you say don’t exist make them practically meaningless.
you're not telling the truth. I don't know the purpose or angle is but stick skills dont have anything to do with linemen who should be pulling running away from the line of scrimmage nearly off the screen lol
Stick stills cant control what animations trigger.. you couldn't play this game saying the things you're saying lolol
1. It looks like the defender had zoned out or zone hawk on him. They will react to the ball like that. It’s not crazy that a SS or FS or coverage linebacker in pursuit would under cut an incorrectly pass led receiver. Hardmen looks like he stops because you inside pass lead on a scramble outside.
2. You cannot rely on madden abilities like dashing dead eye and then be upset when madden abilities beat them.
3. I uploaded a few clips on my profile. Several different click ons (curl flat click ons, seam flat click ons, safety click ons streak click ons etc.) and pretty much all the different line backer picks, flat pic, three receiver hook pick, user press/chuck release picks, maybe more. All this over the last week i think.
4. I get that the game does some glitchy things sometimes, but mostly that is your opponent. Let’s all be real about it.
5. If you click on a linebacker and even tap RT you will not pick the ball. Click ons require you to press Y/Triangle only. Sometimes it helps if they are facing the wrong way to hit LT then let go and press Y/Triangle. Be advised you should press the LS in the direction of the ball in correspondence to your position to the ball.
6. The developers seem to have made ball hawking more difficult and needing more precision but its still basically the same. You have always had to simply press Y/Triangle at the right time to hawk the ball but in the past spamming other buttons was never punished, now it is.
7. Top level players wont experience 1/4 of the issues most every one else does because of button and finger control.
8. I will repeat, only in rare instances, like streak picks and line of scrimmage lurk picks, would you want to press and hold RT and Y/Triangle at the same time to hawk the ball. In all other instances and click ons you must not press RT, it kills your animation.
Hope this helps. Check out my clips they might help you.
Best thread on this forum. You both make compelling arguments and I find myself agreeing with both of you even though you seem to be on polar opposite sides of the universe.
Somewhere in the middle I think ive actually learned some things.
Kudos to both of you and keep up the good work.

first off, this isnt me in the video.. but there is no combination of buttons that can be pressed at any point and time that wouldve prevented this. Ball hawk shouldnt cause shifting of players. This is just a bad game
Idk how someone can say nothing is wrong with madden after seeing all the shifting, warping, broken and unfluid animations. Not to mention the play rec and awr dont even matter and it shows. Reasons why the game will never improve.
Got guys saying there is nothing wrong with the game after seeing your user defender being shifted out of position by a scripted animation, people can win top tournaments not throwing the ball once and only run one defense, and i've posted the onside kick glitch numerous times on here with plenty of other glitches i've had to deal with.
Why make something better when people defend the glitches and scripting lol

Did you get an opportunity to try Played Out in MUT where they experimented with cooldowns and play limits?
There were concerns around players using the same play over and over again (ex: Stretch runs). With the new play call limit and cool-down feature in the recent House Rules I wanted to hear their feedback on it since this was mentioned:
"people can win top tournaments not throwing the ball once and only run one defense"
Kyle Shanahan destroyed Madden. When you have a football genius who doesn’t understand how to play the game you should take a hint the people who make the game may need to adjust the Xs and Os, there’s very little to no true game planning in Madden, the only game planning you can do through Franchise is the scenario engine which just gives you game goals. At this point it’s just a broken record, I’m hoping they’ll fix the legacy issues with the game through the next generation console but I’m not holding my breath.
We want a game that doesnt have DDA or whatever someone wants to call it... The handicap programming is probably 40% of madden's problem. Far too often, we play games where, when we win, it's due to the cpu and when we lose, it's still due to the cpu. I won a game today where in the 4th quarter, the other persons ai players would barely pursue the ball carrier! On offense, his players dropped every pass or it was unnecessarily overthrown or, my ai players would make plays on the ball that they werent in position to make. I dont like to play games like that and I shouldn't have to seeing as though I paid nearly 70 dollars for this game. Out of all of the sports games from other companies, Madden, live and fifa are the absolute worst
-Dynamic difficulty adjustments are there to help the weaker player have a more level playing field.
-I’m not a fan either but the game isn’t broken because of it, its just harder, a lot harder because of it
-sometimes really good players can make a couple bad reads and the Dynamic Difficulty adjusts and makes them insane, because its a 4 quarter game, and players stop making bad reads and play better the DDA adjusts again.
-while it is annoying to see a wide open receiver get over thrown repeatedly, while in the next game the same throw is a total laser beam for a crib shot, but it is not a reason to hate the game.
-the best advice i can give a person who is fed up with something is give it a break and come back to it later.
the game is absolutely broken. This has got to be a burner account. Dynamic Difficult Adjustment doesnt make the game "harder", no, it makes the game unplayable. How in the world can you defend a game where the ball or players warp through objects or the cpu, whenever convenient, will teleport/shift offensive or defensive linemen over into different positions for whatever outcome
2Kfootball didnt do this and Nba2k for all of its issues, doesnt do this and both of those games are challenging and "hard" according to who you're playing.
The radius around the players in which animations will activate totally changes according to who the cpu is favoring. Often times, the cpu will completely ignore whatever controls you're inputting or, if the cpu is favoring you, the animation will "slide" you into position .. this isnt football. In fact, there is no football logic.
Anytime someone can come out in cover4 in Quarters with all dbacks and CONSISTENTLY stop heavy formation runs, it's not football logic
I, we(because others complain also), dont need tips and tricks on the run game or whatever. Those things only work when the game isnt warping animations or dumbing down on users ai players. Even the superstar abilities dont matter when the cpu is playing as such. It doesnt matter what it is. For instance, you can have the pass rush elite superstar abilities and the players can light up and glow, pulsate... whatever🙄 but if the cpu wants you to lose to the other user online, your players will just trip and fall or not beat any blocks-- even when "in the zone" 🙄
Literally EVERYTHING goes out the window when the computer does these things in the game. If the cpu wants your team or the other team to make a play, it will happen. Jalen Ramsey shouldnt be able to run through a tackle and a guard for a tackle for loss. . really?See the computer, in these instances, doesn't care who the player is, what their attributes are, or their position, No; the computer at that point only cares about the outcome of that play, which should be dependent upon the users, not the cpu making things happen. This is where user skill goes out the window and it's not fun. Guys! its NOT FUN when the game does these thing. I want to be very clear. I want the game to be based on how good you are and if you're making the correct decisions. If I throw a silly interception, the cpu shouldnt give me the ball back the next play off of a fluke fumble, that, by the way, really cant be pulled off by usering a player. It's all ai generated because the strip function for the most part is a conservative tackle. I have pressed the strip button consistently before and never even got an animation. So, there's that.
But, far too often, the cpu takes too much of the game out of the hands of the user..
Even players you're usering will slide out of position when you're trying to cover or make a tackle. The cpu will literally prevent you from turning a corner and attacking a gap. It's the silliest thing. Reason I know this is real is because when I'm playing the game and the cpu/dda is for me, I can make every movement imaginable. The controls arent sluggish and are responsive.
guys.. like seriously! come on
