Draw Plays in Madden aren't True Draw Plays

The Draw play needs to fool the human opponent more so. Currently it doesn't fool them AT ALL! In other words, it needs to initially look like a pass play with routes and everything. The RB needs to appear to block for a microsecond before taking the ball. Too many real-world teams these days don't run the draw play properly and that's probably why the Madden version isn't proper either.
P.S. Get rid of the QB hop in the air thing - QBs don't do that on snap-to-QB draws. You're confused with direct snap to RB plays where the QB pretends to jump for the snap.
Here is an example of a TRUE draw play.

That was one perfectly executed draw play though. They seem to work far better in college though.
Do you think the draws need to be quicker or the actual fake-outs for them (Play-Action too) need to be more convincing for the defense to bite?
The latter.....just like that video I posted above.
> After further research, the true root of the problem is not EA but it's modern-day NFL. What modern-day NFL calls a "draw" isn't a true draw play as they're calling simple shotgun run plays draws and those are NOT draws. A true draw first appears as a pass and then turns into a run.
A draw in 2020 NFL is more of a delayed handoff as opposed to a fake pass. A real shame.
Screen passes: too much bumping into linemen on the running back's part. When these don't work out they look so silly. An added way for QBs to "throw it away" at the RB's feet would be nice.
PA passes in general, how often do they get blown up with an immediate sack the way they do in the game? The QB is more aware than this. I know you can bail out of them, but when you do the animation is awful.
Rollouts are difficult. Sometimes they look natural, but generally the d-line either reacts too well or too poorly, no in between. QBs are better at throwing on the run (especially when it's not across body) than in the game. Many modern offenses scheme around moving the pocket.
Catch animations are trash, and size doesnt really matter much at WR (specifically thinking of all-madden). Zone shouldn't just be about good reads. For all of the chance and digital coin tosses that are involved in this game, its bizarre to me that you can't try to beat zone by attacking a portion of the field manned by a 6'0" linebacker with a 6'6" tight end.
High pass and low pass are barely useable in this game. Good features, let us use them in scenarios that call for them.
