The ranking system doesn't know where you really fall in terms of skill-level yet, so the more games you play the more accurate you'll fall into the range of players that you closely match up with. I've been there too where someone had the best of me early in the season. Keep at it and you'll find games much easier real soon.
The teams aren't taken into consideration for matchmaking, only skill level. At this stage of the season you're going to see more people use the NFL Playoff & Super Bowl teams because it gives them a better chance of winning.
Is there a reason teams will both be wearing the same uniform colors? While I’m not a fan of playing against the same team I’m using, it’s almost impossible to do it if they are wearing the same jersey color

Great question Zach. The reason you have to play the Packers every game is because EA doesn’t give you any way to back out of playing OP teams so eventually everyone just starts using the OP teams because it’s next to impossible to beat them. It is a very boring feedback loop that they just seem totally cool with.

What I’m saying is it don’t matter the team that’s picked, if the player is good, they will beat you with any team. That’s why your skills are important. A lot of us madden players are starting to hit the lab or practice mode. This will help you with your mechanics of the game. Lol it how u learn to exploit the games, nah I’m just joking. It’s where you work on ya craft and develop your skills, and perfect your time on the plays your running. I did everything I’m telling u. It will work.
Sorry that’s just not true. Maybe sometimes it is but the team DEFINITELY matters. If it didn’t matter you wouldn’t see 2/3rds of players using the 3-4 OP teams. They use those teams because they give them a better shot at winning.

I'll disagree with this somewhat. Its not necessarily the team you're playing that definitely matters. Its the skill level of the guy you are playing against. Good players will win with whoever they play with; this is why I have more initial worries if I am playing against a team like the Jags or the Giants or Redsk....er, the WFT.
Lots of times is someone who is not that good who is playing with the Packers, Chiefs or Bucs. You just need to figure out their game plan and then scheme to stop it.

Is this happening with the Cowboys team? We had this reported earlier in the year and it was due to uniforms being selected.
