Do you think it should impact the ratings for both good and bad? I know some players in real life that held out came out real hot at the start of the season as if pre-season didn't mean anything.
More importantly, I would like to see holdouts (and contract restructuring) implemented in Madden. They are just as much as part of the game as injuries, but we do not see them reflected in Madden.
I want the rating adjustors to allow voting for the ratings to go up or down based on the community of the nfl teams decisions and of course if the athletes holding out would regress or progress every NFL game day/week.
A usering contract and restructuring should have mission specific plays and goals. The results of the users skill and performance would constantly upgrade or downgrade the users contract status and negotiations.
For example the longer the holdout the worse rep and skill points the athlete is going to show. I'm just trying to straighten out what I mean. Thanks for your interest in this topic to all that view and reply.

This is one area where you just don't want too many cooks in the kitchen. The bigger thing is that the ratings need to have a strong effect on the game. My punter should not be completing 75% of this passes.
Well let's let the NFL commissioner and the Madden ratings adjuster along with NFL live cast come together and make the choices. I want a hold out and reputation rundown to get me through game week during a live Madden NFL season. Stat Reputation Comparing could be part of the depth chart to give the user an overall edge into finding out how the team is inclining or declining due to disagreements. I want to see what you other members can add to this, thanks.
