Create-A-Team banned by NFL?

Does the NFL forbid the create-a-team feature from being part of the game? If so why can't EA just come out and say that. At least then EA would not be to blame for the feature never being put back into the game.

The nfl should not ban this feature. I heard some of the Madden features can only take place if the National Football League allows it.

If EA would at least come up with a list of features the NFL will not allow it would certainly save them some blowback from Madden fans.

No. It is not banned by the NFL. I hear that excuse often and it makes 0 sense at all. Think about it:

The NFL will allow me to relocate the Broncos to, say, Portland, but only allow me to either keep the name Broncos or choose from one of 3 team names assigned to Portland because the "Portland Knights" will hurt their image?

Or the NFL "allowed" create a team on the PS3 consoles but for some reason, "banned" it, along with other yesteryear features from the older consoles?

Nah... I'm not buying it. I'm not bashing EA or anything but this is merely one of those things where create a team will get in the game whenever EA decides they are ready to get around to it. I don't know where this "the NFL won't allow" it thing comes from but this just does not make any sense at all.

What EA needs to do, since they like to sell us old features. They need to take madden 05 and make a modern version of the game. Or take what was in that game and input it into the new maddens, starting wit 21.

Honestly, you'd simply get the canned response: "Our team understands the passion of our fans. We continue to value the input of our fans as we seek to improve our product blah, blah, blah"
