Based on what you experienced, seems like there is a difference between Play Now and CFM. So we'll have to do sliders based on CFM play. By the way, thanks for that WR screen tip. I'll make use of that in my custom playbook :)

I tried pass coverage and pass reaction at 100 and that didn't make a difference in Play Now. I did see some weird stuff like wrong User CB employed. I set CB's to match by Overall and CPU put my 3rd overall CB on its number 1 receiver. Result: CPU TD. CPU DB's play better than their ratings suggest, my DB's play unlike…

If you are not playing Rookie or Pro, hold Left Button. I believe on Rookie and Pro they will move automatically.

Doesn't Simulation mode mean similar to Madden 17? I'm not seeing much of a difference in gameplay. man coverage is still non coverage and DB?WR interaction does not seem to apply to my CBs that shy away from interfering with the catch. They stay away and let WR catch ball, not even lifting a finger.

Yes to the EA Access question. August 25 is release date, August 22 is for those who purchase G.O.A.T. edition. EA Access I believe starts the trial on August17th.

I tried creating before starting a franchise, but the created player doesn't show anywhere. Saving didn't seem to do anything. What steps did you do for this to work?

Wagner, the tackle leader last year, gets a 95 for hit power. So how many forced fumbles last year for this terror? None. Not a single forced fumble last year in over a 100 tackles.

"To stick with that theme, he’s got a 92 Tackle and 95 Hit Power, which is also the strongest among D-tackles. Mental note: don’t run towards him." In his entire career Suh has two forced fumbles, and that gets him a 95 hit power.
