Madden 97. And the last good one I played was Madden 10.

If you just turn the system off or quit the application during a game, it will save whatever progress he's in. So if he quits the application at halftime, when he reboots the app, and goes back to franchise mode, it will ask him to resume where he left off. I do this all the time.

With Madden 22 coming up, I've thought of a few things that could be included which should be easy adds: 1) Bring back different game speeds. We used to have fast/normal/slow/super slow. Slow gameplay was so much more realistic. The current (and only) option to play is just way too fast, to the point where it feels arcade…

@blinkfan18211 Did nail a lot of things for sure! And you're both right, this speed threshold is absolutely awful. Hopefully @EA_Blueberry checks out @blinkfan18211 post and passes it along to others.

I'm not sure what the original poster plays on, but I play on All-Pro as All-Madden level always seems to be comprised of CPU being like superman which comes off as cheating, as opposed to just a good challenge. I have my run blocking set to 34 and I'm still averaging over a 150 yards per game. But my biggest issue is…

You know, you speak a lot of truth with this post. Defensively speaking, it is beyond poor. I thought maybe since I didn't play last year's game, I was just a little rusty or something, but after playing more, I noticed how poorly the defensive AI is for user controlled teams. And when you lock into a player, their…

It's just nice to hear from someone from EA actually use the word 'scripted' when talking about Madden. But yes, I would be frustrated if that happened, but as long as it wasn't a cyclical thing, I'd be okay with it. If the developers could code it correctly where it wasn't overused, it would be realistic. For example, and…

I'm failing to understand what you're trying to say? Are you admitting that the game is dependent upon AI animations rather than actual football physics?
-
I'm pretty sure it is in the game, it's just that it doesn't work correctly.

This is my first time with Superstar X-factors as well, and I must say, they are an abomination. This isn't NFL Blitz, this is (supposed to be) a simulation football game. They are so unbelievably unrealistic, it isn't even funny. But hey, it's EA, what should we expect? I wonder if anyone from EA has actually played APF…

No problem, @EA_Blueberry Yeah, something seemed like it was a big funky. It hasn't totally negatively impact the game, but I was wondering if it was something I was doing wrong, as I never played last year's game. I wasn't sure if I had to do anything extra to activate the traits and abilities.. Oh well. I'm not a big fan…

@EA_Blueberry Yes, it only happens in the one league. It is a solo, offline league that I just play on my own. I'm in season 2 and Logan Ryan never showed anything for star development the entire first season and throughout season two so far. The drafted rookie despite being revealed as an "X-factor" shows nothing on the…

It's just a little funny when I see some EA people, mainly @EA_Blueberry answering other posts throughout the day, but (conveniently?) not answering this one. Perhaps I need to start cussing and using colorful 4 letter words. They're usually super quick to jump on those people who do that, lol 🙃 Oh, being a Madden gamer…

I guess @EA_Blueberry nor anyone else from EA wants to give any feedback because I called X-factors "nonsense" and asked if this is evidence of a broken game? 🙃
-
Well, I reset those individuals back to normal development. Saved the game. Put them back to their respective development levels, and still nothing.
-
Thanks for your input! I'm in year two of a franchise, and this happened throughout all the first season as well. I did read somewhere, someone mentioned to put everyone to a normal development trait, and let the game save. Then go back and manually put them back to their 'whatever' development trait and it should fix it.…

No problem! You can always tinker the numbers a bit, based on different schemes you might want to try. You'll have to modify any position if you get hit with some injuries, as well haha. But as for a base to start with, that has always worked for me. Have fun!

I'm honestly not sure that's possible anymore, at least not to my knowledge. You can thank EA for once again taking out useful features which we once on from older generation systems, but no longer have on more powerful current systems. It's a trend for EA and Madden.

Traditionally I've gone with a single back up at QB after the starter, and across the offensive line, after the starters. Three RBs, four of five WRs, two or three TEs. On defense, it depends on what scheme you're running. If you're running a 3-4.. you're going to want more LBs, but if you're running a 4-3, you're going to…

I also want to include what this person said at the forefront of this thread. I really think these ideas could make the game so much more realistic. > @HawksNest87 said: > I've been coming to these forums for awhile, but after reading this post, I just had to create an account in order to comment! You are spot on with…
