"More ways to play together than ever" include franchise mode?

Can I get confirmation that this includes offline franchise mode? If so up to how many players at once? My friends and I would be very excited if this was finally put into sports games.

It has the Franchise info you are looking for. And no I don't believe it has more than 1 player controlling 1 team.

I just posted a similar thread. No GMC is brutal, but can friends play co-op games in your franchise mode?

Meaning, Franchise is essentially still a traditional 1-man mode as before, but now you can at least have a buddy not near you log on and play co-op in your single player franchise mode?

Same here, Bobo. I'll pick the game up either way but if we can do co-op seasons it will mean a few more of my friends will pick it up too. Then I just need Madden/Fifa/NBA2K to get with the program too.

my guess?

too many hurdles hosting a EA NHL franchise based game from a client side / console for potentially 5 others.

having it server based isn't economical or revenue generating (like HUT) for the company.

stinks, tho. it's all my and my buds have been asking for... for uhh years.
